I have a miniature poodle named Zoey and they are absolutely the best! Zoey gets fully groomed every 6 weeks for $48. I live in Phoenix. Poodles are very smart dogs. She does not play with toys but instead plays a lot of head games with me and with the day care owner. She's developed a skip to her walk and her hind legs will often skip when she's happy while on our walks. This is just the most adorable thing you've ever seen. She likes all people and likes about 40 - 50% of other dogs. She'll growl at some dogs but never at people. I think Zoey thinks she's a people too!
I own a pure bred female miniature poodle, she is amazing. I fell in love with my poodle at first sight. My dog is so smart which makes is tough sometimes. She is very active, cuddle, sweet, and loving.
my bro took in a 4yr old mini poodle like this for free from some people who were moving. she is incredibly intelligent and knows to cater to everyone in the house to what they like from her. training is too easy as she's super food motivated. been 3 years and every moment with her has been wonderful
Scarlet is adorable and sure to help increase subscriptions when you feature her. I owned a couple of miniature poodles and agree they are very smart...but I think its more than that. Some breeds like Afghan hounds are rated low in intelligence...but I don't think it is a matter of intelligence, its more that most of them do not care very much what the owner wants them to do. Poodles, like you said, are very people and owner focused...so you have both smarts and a real effort to understand what you want them to do and to do it. Please post a follow up with a groomer video. The before/after is almost like getting a whole new dog. Plus, you can experiment with a whole lot of different looks with poodles. Some you may not like but they grow out real fast so you can start again. Another thing... miniature poodles can live a very long time compared to other breeds. Both of mine lived more than 17 years. Royal Canin dog food is very popular, but also not very good. There are better dog foods than that. I don't know where you live, but I can recommend you some names of world famous foods with lots of meat and other valuable ingredients like : Acana, Orijien, Taste of the wild, Purizon, Caniwild. You need to look for high meat ( best 40-60 % without meat by-products in it )and vegetables. This will help your pup live long and healthy life.
I just got my baby ( toy poodle) and she’s 2 weeks😩 she won’t sit down and focus on me long enough for me to teach her much so we are working on name and sit for the first week😩

Poodles are #1 in intelligence. German Shepherds are #2. Border Collies are #3 in intelligence. From my experience with them. Border Collies like to obey and perform and do a good job herding sheep but you don't see them in Army war training like Malinois or K9 units, do you? I think the conventional classification is incorrect. Poodles are absolutely the smartest dogs in the world, and sensitive too. But they are athletes and working dogs, hunting retrievers, loyal to a fault, but not clingy chi chi dogs. So many people get the wrongs dogs for themselves. You have to research, analyze, check out dogs before you find a match. Its like a marriage. You want dog's habits and your habits to be in sync for a harmonious relationship for 20 yrs. Give her raw beef bones and raw turkey necks to chew on. Better for her and saves the toys.
Sorry dude, I had to get rid of mine. Second smartest dog is in debate with me. Who made that up. ? I found the one I had was needy , destructive when left alone. And the grooming is too expensive. They look like chia pets to me. With a dumb look on their face. They attach to anyone that moves. So he will not miss me. I gave him to a nice family with children. I am glad to be rid of this dog. If you want a dog that will chew on furniture not listen to commands. And not give you any privacy. Go for this breed.
Poodles are known for being anxious and clingy as hell. You probably should have anticipated that. You really need to train that separation anxiety out of them, it doesn't just disappear. It's why I'm going for a chow chow

I want oneeee 😫 How did you find your breeder?
I just searched on my local ad website and found her! :D
I love my phantom mini poodle 🐩 ♥️
Are the Phantoms the black and apricot Poodles, if so they are absolutely beautiful!!
Hi Aaron Your poodle is so cute. I am considering getting one in Melbourne. But a puppy costs me $3500. So my dream not come true.
Can you share your favorite supplies and toys that you use for her? She's soooo cute, by the way!
Great idea!!
Our Austin is 13 months
Looks like her bro
Thanks great!
she is so cute!!!!!!!!!
Yessss sheeeee issssss!!!
How does she get on with your cat and how old is your cat?
The cat does swipe at her sometimes and has even bit her, Kya is 6 years old I believe...
Which dog breeds doesn't cost much for maintaining their coat?
Maybe a miniature dachshund?
Great question!
I would have to say on pups I have owned and my family has owned, honestly my little Malchi doesnt require any grooming! If you want to go check out the video on her ill attach the link in this comment :D

@@AaronLewisOfficial thank you:)
Any separation anxiety?
Yes she defiantly has separation anxiety but since I have gotten my Malchi she's much better, they keep each other occupied while I am away...
I love my toy poodle .but barks a lot
My Poodle never barks, and when she dies it sounds so funny!
Cook for her. She will love it and it’s healthy for her
You can clip them at home
i love that dog....i recon she could do a rubicks cube.
we are getting one this summer
EXCITING STUFF :D
How much does she weigh now and is she 9 months now? :)
Oops meant how much does she weigh here in the video?
I just got my baby ( toy poodle) and she’s 2 weeks😩 she won’t sit down and focus on me long enough for me to teach her much so we are working on name and sit for the first week😩
How’s the poodle doing now
@@cdottyZz she is 5 months now and she will literally only focus if I have something that she really wants ( which is stuff she shouldn’t have like dry cereal) so the only 2 commands she knows so sit and lay because I’m still searching for a snack that she’ll do anything for, but in the bright side I think she knows her name.
I know this video is old. I hoping too get a mini poodle in a couple years
It is old, but she is still doing great and one of the best breeds of dog you can own!
how much does your dog weigh?
6.1 kilograms!
Poodles are very picky when it comes to food. Coco my mini poodle is the best dog in the world but boy she is a nightmare regarding food.
She has become less fussy as she's getting older, luckily!
Think she's also afraid my new puppy will eat her biscuits if she doesn't finish them in time ahaha
I'm from Croatia and grooming of my miniature poodle costs me 20 EUR 😊
High energy dogs, very smart and fast learners. Only downside is that they are loud as hell, like an alarm
Really!
Mine hardly makes any noise, my little Malchi how ever is quite the barker 😜
@@AaronLewisOfficial mine barks at everything like an alarm. Also he doesnt have the typical poodle hair. Its like long curls, wich makes him even flufier. Love the dog to bits, 10 years and still has the energy of a puppy
They have so much energy it’s adorable!
Please check out Sophie's channel she is my blue mini poodle
Will do!
Groom her yourself, I bought a shaver and save a decent amount of money by shaving my poodle every 2 or 3 months!
Mini poods are super intelligent. And the best part is if you dont perm their fur they dont look like fufu dogs
just get yourself a pair of whall clippers and a number 4 or 5 head....you can do her for free then ...no way i would pay someone to do my dog...just do her yourself one sunday a month...i hope that doesnt sound too suggestive..."do her"
save yourself $100 and buy some clippers. =)
See I just don't think I have the talent to make her look cute...
*Please if you actually want a poodle Please do not buy them off adds or popular sites. Do the research and find an ethical reputable breeder.*
She's as lovely as her name.but if I were you I would choose a husky or a golden retreiver.both breeds are very smart and beautiful
I own a cavoodle they are so CUTE but her toys never last more then a month
wao 590th like
YAYYYY!
Thank you for your support :D
@@Hannah-y2z Do not even begin to tell me what do do. You do not pay my bills.
Cute dog, great video. Only negative was the preceding Joe Biden commercial. That was nauseating.
