- Diana Seitz performs Kreutzer Etude no. 10 for Violin in fast and slow tempo.
The slow practice tempo marking is sixteenth note = 65 bpm. Yes! It Is excruciatingly slow, but trust me, that is the best way to master this study 😎
Major challenges of this Etude include:
Intonation accuracy In arpeggios
Shifts
Left hand velocity
Detache stroke
String crossings

Yay! Congrats on finishing 8🎉 And I totally hear you about no.9- it’s a great study, but it’s soooo long!!!!😂😂😂 As you can see, I skipped it too! Although I do like to use it during practice, but couldn’t bring myself to record it yet- may be some time in the future!
