  • MSI MPG K360 CoreLiquid - we check out MSI's monstrous new liquid cooler, which uses 7th Gen Asetek hardware, three Torqx RGB fans, a 360mm radiator and VRM cooling fan.
The cooler turned out to be really quiet at low speeds and with excellent software too, but how does it cope with Intel's Rocket Lake CPUs?

Tested against the Core i9-11900K and Core i5-11600K

I had the i9 11900K since release day and finally getting around to the build. Looks like a triple fan AIO 360mm will do. Thanx for the vid✌

I want to see the K360v2, which I plan to order. Seeing 250 bucks (USD), I was going "Huh, given what I've been dropping, not too bad."
I've got an i5-11th gen, and it rarely breaks 70c with a normal MSI fan (Full MSI desktop). I want to see if I can keep it perpetually under 60, even when running Total War games at max scales, as well as Stellaris using crazy-large galaxy mods.

I almost bought this watercooler for my i9 11900K with MSI MPG Carbon Wifi, but 84-85 degrees with adaptive boost on seems too hot. Am I wrong?

Adaptive Boost is just like that - it really pushing things to the limit

This CPU will not over heat in " basic " usage
Browsing the internet, MS Office, Streaming from Netflix or Hulu, etc
Even with games that do not have Ray Tracing it will also not over heat
It is actually a great CPU for 1080p gamers
Though many purchase a PC as it is a machine that can do MANY different things in stark contrast to a gaming console.
Some applications can be severely demanding on a CPU
Whether that is open source Handbrake
    Or Adobe's Premiere Pro
    I have though of a " trick "
    But I do not own a 11900K
If via Task Manager you allocate 6 cores to an app wich is very CPU taxing
Would that be a win win situation for those wanting to purchase a 11900K ??
Theoretically speaking allocating 6 out of 8 cores should significantly lower temperatures without decreasing performance too much
    Just my own crazy theory...
