    Adding a layer of santan (coconut milk) on top of any agar agar jelly dessert will always make it extra flavourful. What about adding fruits then? The texture and flavours are varied according to the types of fruits. Well I’ve decided to add a local fruit - canned longan. I left out the syrup as it doesn’t go well with the blue pea flower. A refreshing cooling dessert for that hot sunny weather.

    Hi I’m going to try this but instead of agar agar can I use gelatin?

    • @ShiokmanEddie
      @ShiokmanEddie  4 года назад

      I'm not sure about gelatin.

      You can use gelatin, however there will be no visible separation from agar2 and the coconut milk. but you can always improvise. hehehe

    Off the shelf agar agar powder only 10g can go without the 2g

    • @ShiokmanEddie
      @ShiokmanEddie  4 года назад

      Rose brand is 12g per sachet. In that case you have to follow the instruction on the packet for the amount of liquid to a 10g sachet
