I lived the late '50's and 60's as a 10 year old. Had special shoes with twist ball-bearings in the ball of my shoes that made the Twist dance easier. But I don't remember the Monster Mash having a dance move. This looks like Michael's "Thriller".

In the 60’s we did a monster mash potatoes in the style of Frankenstein. Thus the word “mash”
