Summaries
Rino Sakuragi is a high school student. She is good friends with Ren Kiritani who attends the same high school. They have been close since their middle school days. Rino holds special feelings for Ren, but she is unable to tell him how she feels because he is popular. One day, Ren confesses to Rino that he likes her. They begin to date and enjoy their time together, but Rino is diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

I can feel for this story. My granddaughter was diagnosed during her teens years with MS which is Multiple Sclerosis.
She takes care of herself and has been under doctor's treatment for many years.
She can't work because she would passed out and managers were kind enough to take her to the hospital.
She is considered a disabled person.
She was able to find a court assigned attorney and for 5 years the attorney represented her in court with all documents about her health.
The attorney was able to win her case and now she resides on an apartment with minimal space for her needs.
She continues with medications and treatments.
When she visits me we know if we go anywhere we need to stop for her to rest.
Otherwise her legs will give out.
She sees life as a gift.
We pray for everyone that has this cross to carry.
We know that God is helping her by carrying most of the weight.
She will be 30 this year and is happy.

For me this movie was beautiful and real at the same time because one of my best friends was diagnosed with the same disease at 16 and she died from it unable to even eat at 18 years old.

@@yummyberny996 she had ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Your muscles starts deteriorating until you can even breathe and your heart stops because it’s is a muscle also. It’s heartbreaking looking at your friends or love ones becoming weaker with time. And you can’t do anything about it.

This reminds me of the japanese series too "one liter of tears" but it is more on family drama ( with just a little touch of romance ) - but this one is heavily on romance side so i will watch it. ❤ both stories tackles the effect of having diseases at a very early age. 😢
