Proxima Centauri is only 1.5 times the size of Jupiter. Proxima B is 8x closer to its star than Mercury is to the Sun. Proxima B has an ESI of 0.87, Mars has an ESI of 0.64, Mercury has an ESI of 0.6, Venus has an ESI of 0.5, while Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune have an ESI of 0.12.
Also, Proxima takes 11.2 days to orbit Proxima Centauri which is 8 times faster than Mercury's orbit. Proxima B receives 100x more X Rays radiation than Mercury does from the Sun. A red dwarf is a star smaller than the Sun but similar in size to Jupiter but much heavier. Proxima Centauri is 130x heavier than Jupiter while the Sun is 1,050x heavier than Jupiter. Because of that size, the habitable zone of Proxima Centauri is located much closer than Mercury's orbit.
"Fun" Fact: James Webb discovered city lights on Proxima B. I've researched it, and the minimum year they can be in right now is 1646, when city lights were first invented on Earth. They were brought into mainland Europe in the early 1700s, and most images of the planet's city lights make them look small, which leads me to believe that their tech is somewhere between the late 1600s to early 1700s.

So instead of going 4.2 ly away I think so drilling moons of JUPITER and SATRUN would be a better idea
or going to titan my favorite moon :)
there is supposed to be a liquid water subsurface ocean in titan too and titan is just beautiful with the majestic rings of Saturn in the sky and the lakes and seas of liquid hydrocarbons like methane ethane and propane and a atmosphere which is mostly nitrogen like earth and ofc u cant forget the fact that if u had wings u can technically fly on titan beacuse of the low gravity 😃🐥 titan is my dream
Europa is the moon we should take a closer look at
@@Unknown-ml4nt Jupiter’s radiation could create fuel
we can do both ))
Video idea: What if the Na’Vi from Avatar lived on Proxima B (same solar system in the films)
Wow!
Hi I love you channel and I watch every video ready for 6 million 😁
But I still believe that there are others like us in the universe. It's just that we can't reach each other. Our entire existence itself is a mystery 🤔
I am your big fan because of your thumbnail
There’s a new show almost every episode. Just shows that what if is going down In views and the creators is desperate to find the new next hit.
They probably think we're crazy asf! 😂😂
Humanity isn’t a type 1 civilization like they say at 5:41. Humanity is still somewhere around 0.6 or 0.7 or so on the Kardashev scale. We haven’t even achieved type 1 yet.
Just saying…
It rounds to 1 tho
@@user_69_420 every civilization below type 1 is just generally called a type 0 civilization. So is humanity
@@Emiiiill20 o, my bad
@@Emiiiill20 ants and bees are type 0.10 while humans are at type 0.50 but yeah there is not species on earth who are type 1
Ouuu, what about a video about dropping a MASSIVE sponge into the Pacific Ocean? I always think about random stuff like this so I’ll just swing by and drop weird ideas whenever
Next thing you'd know the aliens we're talking about are actually humans from future visiting us
Proxima Centauri is only 1.5 times the size of Jupiter.
What if there was oxygen in space? Will it effect planets,us?
Well we would be able to breath without a suit and it would basically be a never ending atmosphere
We would still probably die
You would probably need a little bit of co2, h2o and nitrogen
Amazing video as always! Keep it up guys🤗🤙
What if moon start rotating
the moon already does
"Fun" Fact: James Webb discovered city lights on Proxima B. I've researched it, and the minimum year they can be in right now is 1646, when city lights were first invented on Earth. They were brought into mainland Europe in the early 1700s, and most images of the planet's city lights make them look small, which leads me to believe that their tech is somewhere between the late 1600s to early 1700s.
is elon mask an alien?👽👽
Well, that's a question. I've always wondered why this guy wanna go there. May be he's an alien who's just making his way back home.
Crazy,he wanna go there to check if it sustain life.
@@Conjertn yeah,i know right.
That's a story for another what if
5:39 we are a type 0 civilization, type 1 civilization is like 100 to 200 years away. The only type 1 civilization technology we have is the internet.
there is so many first viewers 🙂💧
Wow! Please make more videos like these!
