And they often don't vote for dance groups from other countries. Here's an example. Look up "Just Jerk Crew" They were on AGT during season 12. They are are a dance group from South Korea and their dance moves were well in sync too. They made it to the live show but sadly America wouldn't vote for them. They were eliminated after that only live show they had. And unfortunately this girl group here "Avantgardey" already have haters saying they were already famous. However I'm personally happy they auditioned for AGT or I probably would have never seen them. Haters say AGT is for people who are not already famous but their's a season every year. I have no problem seeing other talent from around the world on the show. Even if they are a little famous.

The male judge with brown hair and glasses looks almost uncomfortable. I don't get it. Yes, Avantgardey's style is very different and quirky (they are very appropriately named), but they are SO COOL and really satisfying to watch perform! Maybe there's something about the typical bashful and self-serious nature of Japanese culture that makes their style not a great fit for this show in their country. I'm glad they were received so warmly on AGT. They are fantastic!
