I love when people respect the history of buildings, rather than always tearing down for something new! I especially love things from the 1920’s!

On those days when you get discouraged, just remember how pumped you feel when you share your videos with your viewers and the joy you bring to them. You make people feel happy and want to come back again and again to see the next chapter. You are appreciated. How many people can go to sleep at night with the knowledge that so many others tune in over and over to see what you're doing and to hear what you're saying? Keep it up. We'll be watching...

I think that city of L.A. time switch was an old device that turned on the street lights at the proper time. At the bottom of the cover are the letters, B P & L, which I think stands for Bureau of Power and Light.

I’m so very happy I found your channel. Every blog I’ve watched has either taken me back in time or created a new mystery. Always rewarding. The Wolf Lair is amazing. I’d love to explore that property with all the secret little books and crannies. I’m so very happy that was kept up in the way Frank Lloyd Wright designed this. I studied his work in college and he was ahead of his time and no one has been able to come close to his work. I bet it walls could talk there would be enough stories to write a book. You actually showed us some pretty interesting things. I’m curious as to what was on those bricks. You go to some very cool places. Perfect for photography. I’d love to explore all the places I’ve seen you vlog. I did happen to notice your John Lennon art work. Very very nice. I doubt you’ll be reading this after all this time but just a tip. While steps are great for getting various parts of your body in shape one little slip can hurt you. I flew to Omaha in February to see my brother. While there I had to go downstairs to get a heater (it was -4). On my way back up the stairs my heel got caught in the hem of my jeans and I fell backwards down those steps but somehow landed flat on my face. I couldn’t move my arm. Blood was everywhere. I had broken 2 bones in my nose. My humerus bone in my arm was broken completely in 2. Flew home a week later only to find there were also 3 broken bones in my shoulder. I’m at the physical therapy part now before he decides if surgery will be needed. Just be careful. This has taken up half my year with lots of pain. Thank you for what you do. It’s all so very interesting. 🦋

Cool building so Shelley Duvall was there once. I have only seen two movies of hers. One was POPEYE where she played Olive Oyl and Robin Williams played POPEYE THE SAILOR MAN. Her and Robin Williams, looked do much like those cartoon characters in that film but I didn't think the film itself was that good. and also I saw THE SHINING with her and Jack Nicholson I always remember the scene where she is holding the knife screaming when he is bursting through the door with an axe. Something that surprised about POPEYE THE MOVIE, is that Robert Altman directed it
