Both bands branched off to experience with different sounds but you are crazy if you think kill em all and killing is my business isn't thrash. I was listening to those albums when they came out and they were extreme when they came out. Judging their sound forty years later doesn't do it justice. Like this dude doing this channel knows nothing about the times, he's working with 40 years of hindsight and his father wasn't even around back then

Angel of death was not about hitler at all, the song was based on the story of the Nazi physician Josef Mengele and the horrific experiments he conducted when he was alive. the song is written with two perspectives, that of Josef, and that of an observer condemning what he did.
meanwhile, us real touring musicians in actual metal bands are laughing right at you. your lack of human empathy for folks shows you're quite the opposite of a true metal fan. respect, try it on for size, kid 😊

I listened to mostly thrash but also "classic" metal (Ozzy, Dio, Judas Priest, Sabbath, Motorhead) and some lighter metal like WASP. Thrash in them days was so fun. It sounds like you hate Megadeth and Anthrax. Anthrax did have lameness issues and shoehorned lyrics. Megadeth went downhill starting with So Far, So Good So What. Slayer and Metallica were kings back then. No radio play (except college stations), no videos, you had to seek metal.

Honestly, the mixing of thrash metal sounds awful, the bass is completally burried and the drumming is uninspired, not to mention the vocals. Worst part is, after it metal became ironically a pop type of music full of lables and subgenres and with an entire fashion industru around it. Plus it all sounds like a copy of a copy

Wasp aint hair Metal. The 90's grunge thing really changed a lot. Metallica began exploring 'the art of song writting'. a great band wont box themselves into a corner. Testament is highly under rated. Dark Angel deserves a solid mention.

Im pretty sure, that although most punk bands are opposing the oppression of capitalism and class struggle, they are not calling for fascism.
