Great information, I will be trying this little bit of information. One question, is the grit facing the jaws?, and on the tool post I not sure how you're using the emery cloth. It kind of looks like it's folded over. Can you provide a little more info on this? Thanks
As a plumber this is a great suggestion as I have rolls of Emory cloth.

Gotta start packing when I'm machining now. Good tip. Never know when you might need a Glock in the shop.
