When Will A High Court Bench Be Created In West UP? After 100 years? After 200 years? After 300 years? After 400 years? After 500 years? By the way, Eastern UP which already had High Court was given a High Court Bench way back in 1948 just six months after the ghastly assassination of Mahatma Gandhi Ji and even before completion of one year of independence! This despite the irrefutable fact that it is West UP which owes for majority of pending cases of UP and for whom Justice Jaswant Singh Commission headed by former Supreme Court Judge appointed by Centre itself recommended permanent Seat for West UP about 50 years ago still Centre is dead determined never to allow even a single HC Bench in any nook and corner of Uttar Pradesh other than the one created most horrendously by Lord Pandit Jawaharlal Nehruji and as if this was not enough attached litigants of 30 districts of West UP with not even Lucknow but right uptill Allahabad to seek justice which in itself is the biggest betrayal of Constitution and murder of justice!
