There was a point where me and my brothers would scream the melody while we drove around in the car. Good times. Also, Skyward Sword has such an underrated OST...
The game as a whole is underrated if you can get by the wonky controls you can see a lot of improvements compared to previous installments such as every item has a use outside its corresponding dungeon
@@ianschilhab6222 I don't even remember making that comment! Holy cow. Life goes by in seconds, doesn't it? I just played the "10 Year Anniversary" HD remake.
As a father I live in a family with two kids. Our son, the oldest with 5 years, is mentally disabled. I wish he gets to enjoy and experience anything and everything tLoZ has to offer, but as it's currently standing, he probably won't even be able to speak, let alone play videogames. Times haven't been easy on us, and still aren't. Sometimes though we sit for dinner at the dining table, and everyone is happy and enjoying their time in their own way. At those times, I hear this peaceful theme I've heard so many times before, and I can't help to shed a little tear, because it reminds me what I value most.
As someone with autism I want you to know you have my utmost respect. I cannot fathom how had it is for you and your kids, nor will I ever know the joys. Hope things are alright where you’re at. Best wishes from the Highlands of Scotland.
*Link falls down* "Watch your step there! Haven't they taught you at the academy that knights must always be vigilant? Sharpen up, or you'll never make it to knighthood!" 😆
I remember my dad bringing home this game. We played it ALL DAY. I watched him finish, start, we would play it all day. It’s kinda sad now, that the games finished lol. On my account, sometimes I would just walk around skyloft, nothing else. :)
Watching trailer of Skyward Sword on the Wii when i was 11, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise, now we are closer to 40th anniversary, damn time, why are you going so fast
I remember spending hours just walking around doing nothing, then finding out beetles shop has a metal table you can sleep on and wake up in his camp. It’s weird how kids are entertained by anything.
Cool game, but i cannot get the motion controls to work smoothly enough for enjoyable playing. Seems to me it needs constant calibration? Other than that it was a good idea, but im used to the fine motion controls from Botw :)
The Wiimote used a sensor bar that you pointed at while the joycons use a device in the controller itself to figure out where it’s pointing. Sometimes this can cause issues
song plays on a very bright sunny morning when I walk outside of my house and I hear the birds chirping, water shining from the ponds I live around, and I smell the fresh air
I remember my dad waking me and my little borther up when skyward sword came out and when we got home and booted the game up we heard this and this will always be cherished
those beautiful years, I really miss so much those days when I was a good person no angry no worries no enemies just relaxing, listening and enjoy this masterpiece.
this song is pure serotonin never have i listened to 11 minutes of the same 1.5 minute loop and not cared and somehow im just now realizing this was happening
An energetic remix of this song should've been made in either Smash 4 and/or Ultimate, to keep Skyloft with a music-track that stays true to the original melodies (or notes) for that place, but still sync close enough to the fact that it's nearly always a fighting game.
I wonder if you still remember that "last" day... I remember it, specially when this music sounds. It brings me so many memories about the things we did and the future that we dreamed even in that "last" day, a day I'll never forget.
Damn, this is really nostalgic for me, I remember back when I was a kid I played this game on the Wii while my dad watched or the other way around. Years later, Nintendo releases it on the switch and we did it all again. I'm glad they didn't change much, it's still got it's old heart. My favorite part has got to be the Goddess Cubes.
Currently on a nostalgia trip, what a coincidence that I see a comment posted recently. I have memories of my older brother playing this before he moved out to pursue his career, gotta say that this song is a perfect example of what it's like to be a kid. The chord progressions, the laid back atmosphere, everything about this song speaks warmth. Nostalgia is a bitch, but its bittersweet
I love Skyward Sword, it's flawed for sure, but I just can't help but love the great things because when the game shines it SHINES. Skyloft is totally the best part of the entire game tho no questions asked
I wished i lived in Skyloft... I mean I hate heights but cmon the weather is nice and it has a great academy. In fact if i was born here, i don't think there would be no such thing as fear of heights for me. I just like it when the next The Legend of Zelda comes out and i'm living here in my dreams.
Imagine Clocktown, mixed with Hyrule Market, mixed with Skyloft ..now that would be pretty dope. And then Ganon's castle/tower, another island just a few flaps away.
Man back when gaming was fun and people weren’t talking about politics. Those we’re good times, this and Mario kart wii. Mii sports on the wii, and that mii game from the wii I don’t know what it’s called but I missed playing on the wii. Edit: okay I know what the mii game is called it’s called wii party, wii resorts, and wii sports.
I actually enjoyed this game, at least, enough to put 100 hours into it. Granted the controls were a little weird because I was using a controller (my uncle didn't want to risk me wrecking the joycons of his Switch like I may have accidentally done with his old Switch), but I actually had fun playing this game. And I love the music, but I think this track is my favorite.
so ive pretty much heard all the ost for this game and i have yet to play the game its self, now can someone tell me why ppl dont like this game because with great music like this the game cant be that bad
One of the only Twilight Princess references they had in here along with the dragons who were possibly the light spirits (so far still have Levias is somehow related to Ordona and below thunder head might Ordon) yet I was expecting more Zelda II (and we don't really hear much of Zelma II ever again in other games) and TP back stories in Skyward Sword being the first one in the timeline
Man, for all my years in the internet ive seen alot of people having negativity towards the new Zeldas, stuck in the 90s playing only A Link to the Past, calling Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask shit games. I appreciate every single zelda game, not including the CDI games.

You, my friend, predicted the future heheh
My friend, you have predicted the future.
It's been ten years now!
You definitely own a time machine
Their whole culture is based on forming bonds with and riding giant birds, yet everything in Skyloft is withing walking distance of each other.
or rolling!
They got lonely 😂
I honestly hated those birds! And they changed the theme whenever you rode on them, which was sad haha
Man, just hearing this makes me want to replay Skyward Sword.
you should im going back thru it my self...have fun god bless...
I have not beat skyward sword wind waker or even majoras mask and I am conflicted on what to play from the beginning again
Dalton Merritt Wind Waker
Now you can 😄
You can play while you're at school or work secretly >:)
lol, I would always just run around skyloft doing nothing but listening to this. It's so COOL.

Such memorable music throughout the Zelda series. Absolutely beautiful every time
