  • This full video is a combination of the first and second episode.
In 2014, Morten and Dewi left for 4,5 months to South America. They stayed in the Ecuadorian Amazon for six weeks, to do volunteer work with a family of one of the indigenous peoples of Ecuador: the Shuar. They were involved in daily activities, like harvesting vegetables and preparing food. They also learned about medicinal plants and saw what the children learn at school. During their time in the jungle, they discovered what we, in the west, can learn from people like the Shuar. The way they are one with nature, have respect for all living beings, the way they use natural products as medicines and take their time in stead of stress, can teach us a lot.
In Spirit of Nature, Morten and Dewi share their experiences and lessons, to inspire others to be more aware of the impact of their acts, on themselves an their environment.
