    I have to replace 2 Ox Sensors on my 2014 Town and country van. They are both upstream. I guess I should replace the downstream sensors at the same time? When you replace the transmission filter and oil, should you do a flush of it???

    Ok so I tried this today. When the car was completely cold and I put the dipstick in, it comes out oily a little pass the 2" line on the stick.. Then when I turn it out, ran it for 15 minutes, passed gears ETC.. I then did the level test on running temp 200F and stick came out dry as if it had no fluid. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't the dipstick suppose to come out with just the tip showing a slight bit of fluid when its cold and then at the 2" mark when it's hot? What happened here?

    The cap doesn’t want to open for me how come? I turn it counterclockwise and it budges a little bit but doesn’t actually open.

    thought you suppose to have the transmission on neutral?

    Thanks for making this video. You earned both a thumbs up and a subscribe for all the effort! The transmission in my 2016 T&C recently started slipping (87,000 miles). Dealership has said it needs to be replaced and quoted $8300 parts & labor to replace. Most intensive mechanical work I've done is the timing belt on a diesel Jetta. Debating whether to try tackling this. In your video it sounds like you are referencing a repair manual. If true can you provide a link to the manual or where to obtain? Also how did you determine how much transmission fluid to add after reassembling? Great job and wish you and your family all the best.

    Just a quick correction, the 5th gen was from 2008-2020, not 2022.
    Just thought I’d let you know!!

    If the trans fluid is low, do you fill it?

    And to anyone watching this.
    I have a 2012 and 2014 town and country
    These transmissions are VERY VERY VERY VERY finicky about fluid level
    Literally 1/2 a cup of fluid is the difference between having all 6 gears. And only having 5
    I been fighting this issue since replacing trans cooler lines (Jan 21 thru CURRENT day Jan 24 2023)
    One minute I’ll have all 6 gears and the next. I only got 5 gears

    hello, good day, note that I have a 2008 4.0 town country and it has a 62TE TRANSMISSION Check the oil measurement after returning from work with the trip it warmed up to be ready and measure it well and it marks but just at the tip of the rod and that it is hot would have to put more oil or is the measurement different in this year and model of the transmission because when it is cold it does mark up to the mark of how much it should be hot thanks I hope you help me

    just alittle cofused... is it correct to check it with engine running? At the beginning the video says "with engine off" but you checked it with engine running...

    • @jackfrost5132
      @jackfrost5132 Год назад +3

      It was "engine off" just for safety when reaching in to remove the cap on the transmission fill tube.

      Probably best to fill through the hole that’s present when you remove the “dealer use only” cap from the dipstick tube. Use a funnel with a pliable rubber tube on it so it seals around the opening for a leak-free pour
