Wow, like how similar those dials are! It’s almost like those two watches were made in the same factory (in China) by the same company but sold under two different brand names at a huge mark up.
I don't know if they have a return policy because I would be at the top of the list for returning the most watches. I just like to pick my watches instead of having some random guy throw a random watch into a box and mail it to me.
Yeah I think it's fun if you're starting out but can definitely be hit or miss..... I've gotten some pieces I really like and some stinkers lol I keep it going for the channel. Thanks for checking out the vid!
I was originally gonna comment "holy crap! The Dial on that Cadola is freaking amazing!" Then you got to the JM and I was like oh wow they're almost sister watches. The Cadola is still top with the colour ways but that JM isn't too far behind! Definitely Worth it
I think watch gang is a good intro to watch collecting. And you can see a lot of different types of watches, and find out what your style. Without spending a lot of money.
That's how I see it as well, had I received a 3mo subscription as a gift I'd be over the moon just because it would show me different watches and style I might not have considered.
Honestly for me it would not be worth it. I think I'm just at that point in my watch journey where I know what I want, and I couldn't bare to leave it up to happenstance.
I'm there 2, was a long time ago but people love seeing the watch gang box openings..... it's still fun but I like saving up for specific watches for myself
I was with Watch Gang Black for almost a year, and it wasn't bad. I've sold off all the watches (at a loss) with the exception of a Dufa, which I still own because it fits my wrist perfectly. If you have a 7+ inch wrist and don't have a collection, it will definitely help you sort out your own personal preferences at a cheaper price than other brands. But most of these watches aren't something that will stick in your collection long-term, and the watches are usually 42mm and above.
The Dufa watches I've received really are up there as some of my favs from watch gang! There's a few brands in the mix that I feel are home runs but you're definitely not receiving them consistently.
At least you were honest about it. I looked up the watches he got and neither of them resales for even the $99 he’s paid for them. I like watches as well but I’d definitely rather go with quality over quantity. That second watch he got is selling for $100 brand new on eBay. 💀
@@cannabino5653 it really can be hit or miss on the resale of some of these, I usually start them auction auction style and let them go for whatever.... I've had some from WG go for way more then I paid and a lot go for $50-$80 range I just have so many watches at this point it's time 2 let some go for others 2 enjoy and maybe they get a deal on them..... Thanks for following!
@@watchin9920 that’s fair. I’m pretty sure you make something off those videos too so I’m the end it’s worth it for you but for the average person this is definitely not worth it. It’s just a get rich quick scheme for someone to pawn off cheap watches on the masses with the hood of getting a Rolex. If you haven’t gotten a Rolex by now even while doing video reviews than I’m almost certain those stay with in the company.
Favorite is that blue one. It’s pretty easy for funky textured dials to look kind of cheap. I think the first green dial watch gets away with the busy dial but I think I would have to see the second one in person to see if I like it. I think 150 is too much for all the random mediocre watches you could end up with. It might be more worth it if they gave you a choice like when spinning the wheel.
I used to be a Watch Gang member. I did not think it was worth it. All the watches that I received were ugly, micro brand watches and none of them even run any longer. I’d rather save my money and buy a grail watch with some real history and craftsmanship behind it.
Use to have Watchgang 5 years ago. Terrible watches and everything is over 40mm. I got rid of every single one. I cannot wear anything over 38mm or the watch looks like a dumb saucer. In general, I think people wear watches that are way to big for their wrists. In addition, I broke my wrist a while back. If I wear anything heavy it hits against the pin in my wrist. While Watchgang watches are throwaway pos that no one else wanted, I do have a place in my heart for them. They taught me a lot. After Watchgang for a few months, I got into Cartier and never looked back.
That tsovet goes for $75 used on Mercari. I’m going to stick with the Reddit reviews and agree that these watches have no resale value because I’ve never heard anyone say “I want a tsovet watch”. So that $500 tsovet isn’t even worth the $99 subscription.
Definitely can be hit or miss, I like the Tsovet it's one I've kept.... If you intend on selling the watches you get from WG then definitely not worth it... but I don't feel bad about the price on the keepers 😜 thanks for checking out the vid!
I’ve never been a watchgang member but I don’t think it’s worth it - they seem to be just cheap watches most of the time sometimes you do unbox a gem. And it’s these companies that slap together a website to make it seem legit but that’s just my impression of the program if members are happy then that’s all that matters!
It really can be hit or miss.... I think it's a good way 2 start or introduce someone into watches maybe a 3mo sun mob for a bday or Christmas present would be fun 2 do it as long as I have..... I wouldn't still be signed up if it weren't for the channel...
In my opinion Watchgang isn't worth it; I understand the anticipation and excitement that comes with a watch unboxing every month, but from what I've seen more often than not the watch you get is simply not appealing. Of the watches received, there aren't enough keepers to make a Watchgang suscription worthwhile.
Makes sense, it's weird I have a ton from them obviously and not all make it into daily rotation that's for sure. I think it'd be impossible 2 really hit even close 2 styles everyone likes, the surprising thing for me is watches I end up loving that I never would've picked myself....
Is it worth it? Not for me it isn't, all those watches come from the awful Dartmouth Brands stable, a cheap as chips Hong Kong based company who resurrect defunct Swiss watch brands and sell their junk by making out the watches are related to the company who's name they have stolen. It's shopping channels fodder that use the cheapest movements possible. You would be better off putting the money to one side, let it build up and and then buy something you really like rather than cheap Dartmouth Brands crap every month.
I can definitely see that, it does even more so that's the case I feel like the subscription price went up and there's less well known brands going out.
Ha I wish I got paid! I've had a lot of fun with my subscriptions and gotten some cool pieces.... it's definitely not for everyone.... Thanks for checking out the vid
Wow, like how similar those dials are! It’s almost like those two watches were made in the same factory (in China) by the same company but sold under two different brand names at a huge mark up.
Hahaha 😝 that would never happen would if?
I don't know if they have a return policy because I would be at the top of the list for returning the most watches. I just like to pick my watches instead of having some random guy throw a random watch into a box and mail it to me.

Great vid as always keep it up.

I legit couldn't tell if I was seeing things or if they were the same color!
Yes I'm all about the Codola!!! Love the colors
It does have a cool look to the dial!
So they give 50 cent Temu watches for $100 a month?

That cadola is nice. My last 2 months watches have had me scratching my head.
Have you done vids? What'd you get I'll have to go back and check, I've been kinda on a break from the channel just been busy.

Yeah at the higher price point it feels less worth it to me....
If you’re happy, that’s all that matters!👍🏻
That's the truth!
I need to expand my watch sets 😮
It's always fun getting new pieces

Definitely a good option! I've had some good ones and some hit or miss for sure.... Did you get any autos while you were signed up?
@@watchin9920 Sadly no automatics. Still waiting to get my first Omega.
Would you sell any of the watches you may not like?
I do put them up for sale sometimes..... I have some up on my eBay store right now click the link in the vid description!

Thanks I enjoy your vids 2! I need 2 get caught up! Haven't been on as much lately.
