I listen to your talks over and over and over again. Every time I do I hear something I missed or didn't understand. Then I'll listen to Ajahn Chah, then Ajahn Sumedho.... Do the same thing with them. Over and over..Then start over. Then walking meditation, then two hrs sitting. It does sink in eventually. All this I plan on bringing with me to my next lifetime.I want to be a monk next time. Thank you Ajahn. Many Blessings.

Candace LK I do the same. I listen to videos of Ajahn Brahm, Ajahn Martin, Ajahn Brahmali and many others over and over again and over again, day after day after day until the teachings sink into my bone marrow.

@@lordbyron3603 especially Ajahn Martin is amazingly fierce in reminding us about death and hell same as Buddha often reminded his students. Hearing it sometimes helps to shake up the complacency. Many times thr teachers often focus mostly on the positive which is good but Buddha also reminded us what is the terrible outcomesof not practicing diligently. Buddha never tried to sugarcoat things or act like a "New Age guru" who hides rebirth in hell or sufferings in each lifetime.

It would be best perhaps at some point to dedicate to the life of a monk. However, if one cannot realize an enlightened awareness in everyday life, then perhaps the enlightenment would not be true. A serious ponderance for me at least.
    Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro,
thank you for your teachings. Thank you for your readings of Venerable Ajahn Chah's talks. May you be happy and fulfilled.

One cannot enlighten without doing the right things. Doing these in everyday life is certainly possible, but would be different or take more time than the dedicated way. One can choose his/her own path. Really doing it is more important.
