  • A very different video from me. Not looking to go down the "life guru" route, those people are cringe, but I hope this helps in some way. Back to normal videos from the next one. Thanks for your time!

30 years young, you are really young Ryan, you may not realise this now, you are still young in your 40s too, although you may not think so now. Enjoy your 30s! When I turned 40 that was the big shock, I remember thinking, I've probably already lived half or most of my life and I'm middle-aged. You seem very mature to me and I think your output is excellent. Re: wanting more, you deserve more views on your channel, however as someone who used to run her own animal charity and charitable trading company, be careful what you wish for, because you may burn out and stop enjoying what you thought was your passion and vocation in life. One big thing we all deserve is to own somewhere nice to live, a house/flat with decent views/room sizes to fulfil your needs. That was the important thing for me and if that's what you want I hope you've achieved or will achieve that too. Having just enough money/savings to live relatively stress-free and of course someone to share happiness with. What makes me happy and grateful is also to be happy with my body, which I've finally achieved in my 50s - better late than never and that's why I'm so grateful for excellent channels like yours.

I agree. You seem very mature. Having more doesn’t necessarily make someone happy. Ryan doesn’t express what he wants, or did I miss it

change your story, changes you life. we all always want more, that is what life is all about. it's all about being happy, NOW, and looking for more, and excited about wanting more.

Thanks for sharing your insights with us! As everyone has rightly pointed out, at 30 you're still very young, of course :D And it's amazing how much you've already achieved in your life - but your video ABSOLUTELY resonates with me. I'm 38, a mum of two, and have a reasonably successful freelance career as a professional translator along with a small KDP business. My husband and I have worked so hard to build a life together and have achieved a lot, but while I feel truly blessed and genuinely happy, I'm always chasing the next goal and achievement - so yes, you're absolutely right, these two feelings can exist simultaneously. Like you, I've come to realise that there's no escaping from this desire for more. It is absolutely part & parcel of human nature to want more. The day we no longer want to achieve more is the day we're, well, dead! We just have to make peace with that while being grateful for what we've got... Thank you, Ryan! Your videos and your work as a fitness coach have absolutely improved people's lives and you should be so proud of what you've achieved

You are a wise soul for 30. The ability to be introspective and know yourself as you live and grow is definitely present as you speak in this video. I am twice your age and then some , but I very much enjoyed your talk. There is wisdom to be obtained by observing how our minds work, truly allowing the experience of peace and happiness in the present.

    • @luluandmeow

There's plenty of time for that! Everyone wanting children should be made to work as a full-time nanny to a couple of lovely (but demanding) children, or maybe one or two not to lovely ones! I looked after 3 wonderful children in my 20s, something I'd only done part-time before then. I had nothing else to do and I thought I would be good at it. By the end of week 1 I was in tears and realised that to do this properly you have to completely sacrifice and your life, you won't have time for anything, forget about having a nice hot cup of tea and you'll even be wanted when you go to the bathroom! The stress is enormous and never-ending. I salute all good parents but it's not for me, and I'm glad I realised this before I started my own family. I've never regretted it, the world's already overpopulated and does not need my children. But most people have children without trying on the lifestyle first, and then they feel trapped, especially men, and this is when bad parenting and even child abuse starts. You can have a wonderful life without a child-centred lifestyle, but of course to each their own.

@@luluandmeow yes it is a sacrifice and not for everyone. I always knew I wanted children whatever the cost to me but that was my decision my entire life. I respect your decision as well
