Incredible how easily you assimilate with the locals by communicating with them. You will find that most Singaporeans like to chat with foreigners. By the way that game you saw the Chinese people playing in the equivalent of English draughts...it is not chess. Chinese chess is quite different and has pieces with varying moves as in English chess

Welcome to Singapore. Public transport system is very accessible and affordable in Singapore. Majority of the people and even tourists travel by the MRT or bus.

there's a difference between local chinese and "aboriginal" chinese VS china chinese.
local chinese have ancestors who migrated from china but have been here for more 2 or generations. aboriginal chinese are mixed with local malays and gave birth to a unique culture called Peranakan. and china chinese are a total foreigner. they are easily recognizable by their accents. they are either tourist, or employees/business community or new citizens. they do not represent singapore.
malay is race. malaysian is nationality.
There is a fairly big Pakistani population in Singapore that moved during the British rule. My family is one of them.

Beautiful Singapore, thanks for sharing this, I visited back in 2007 and went to places you just did, MRT is amazing there, We used it the whole time, visit beautiful Sultan mosque which is in the vicinity of Chinatown. Hawker food is delicious too. Take the MRT to dhobi ghat too. Enjoy your stay😊

When the British first came to the Singapore island , there were only about 1200 native people ( some Malay, some bugis , some sea people , couple of chinese ) living there.
let me know, i can recommend where we locals go to apart from the typical tourist spots, the locals go to different places for cheaper more different experiences.
If you want lower price of the same type of clothing for your kid , can go to the bugis street market ( opposite the bugis mall )
Recently I visited Singapore Dec 2023 you should visit capita spring top roof free entry you just booked before one day and select your time slot and enjoy the complete view of Singapore from this place and Love your all videos MashAllah you guys doing great job stay blessed ❤
