As a mostly 3.75 collector, I've been doing this the other way around ever since I was a kid, especially with statues and forest pieces, but also sometimes figures. A regular orc in the 6 inch line can become a giant for the ewoks to fight
Excellent ideas. All of them! I about fell out of my chair when I heard the faint "whoosh" when the rock fell off the glider - brilliant!! 🤣🤣🤣 Great video!
My scale is Black Series, but I bought the TVC Nevarro Cantina playset and elevated it with foam so I could create some scenes with my 6" figs in an actual location they can hang out in. Works very well!
Hello Luke I've been behind in catching some RUclips videos. Sorry I got to this one so late. I like your ideas for combining some vintage line figures and accessories with the black series figures. I've been considering putting some vintage Jawas with the black series as children and my vintage Ewoks as well. I also love your idea of the lightning effects to use with a Jawa and droid or just a droid shorting out like R2 on Cloud City or outside the Endor bunker. So much potential for displays. I have quite a bit of vintage and Power of the Force figures with accessories packed away, I'll have to make some time to look through my old figures and see what I have. Thanks Luke for sharing your ideas and putting this video together for us I appreciate it. Take care my friend. Tom
I was really sceptical about those bases but everything shown here when set up in the scenes look really neat. You know you love the line when youre helping people find alternative ways to enjoy the hobby, I can definetly see people rummaging through their childhood 3.75 bins to find stuff to work for their new collection :D
This video has made me get my 3.75" figures from out of my atic to look for some good accessories/bases. Great video as always, thanks for the inspiration!
Amazing video. I've known about Phat Collectables for close to a decade now and was so disappointed I couldn't make the journey when I visited California in December but this video really convinces me I need to go visit again. Love all the work you do sir.
Thanks for sharing your figure accessory finds. Some good options I had not considered. I look for these parts at garage/rummage sales and used toy stores for my own 1/12 displays. Thanks and MTFBWY!
Been doing this for a while. 3.75 Black series Jawas with the 6 inch versions. 3.75 sandies and wookies as kid versions. That glider and ewok is in my 6 inch scale Endor Bunker (yours) diorama, as are a few 3.75 'woks as youngling murder bears.
Loved it! I love this style of play and promoting it. Push the scale breaking agenda! Break more scale! Phat Collectibles, I vistied once and got the 3" Brock Sampson for like $15 bucks. I gotta visit again.
The idea to use the 3.75 inch bases on Black Series figures to make dioramas is BRILLIANT!!! I've been only recently getting into Black Series collecting, and adding in lots of accessories and props from my 3.75 inch collection is going to elevate those figures in the best way. Thanks a bunch for the tips! MTFBWY, and God bless!
I have that Ewok glider in my Black Series Endor display too! It's a fun piece! I also have the 3 3/4 wampa. It came with a hoth cave piece and some meat that I display with my TBS wampa. Great video!
Some nice ideas there Landspeeder Luke. That Death Star hologram with Tarkin could just be the first one under construction. I've seen a Vintage Collection Incinerator trooper, and was thinking the flame effects would look great with the 6 inch version.
This is a great idea! You're very creative. I'm going to a toy show next week here in Chicago burbs, I'll definitely will be looking for 3.75 accessories.
I think for the flying Ewok, if you put it in the back of the display it could work well as a force perspective effect. My New Hope shelf is based of the original poster, so I have a smaller scale 3PO, R2, and Chewy to simulate them being further back and the effect works really well.
The force-link line of figures had nfc/rfid chips. There was a quantlet/wrist accessory that would scan it when you picked it up and make noises. Its a neat idea in concept but flopped. Probably because kids can make sound effects and quotes with their mouth and its not as limiting as a handful of pre-recorded noises. The failure has the added bonus of making making the figures cheap. I have a few and they're not too bad.
These are great, I actually have a handful of em when a retro toystore got bought out and was selling all their inventory, I got a couple bases, the mouse droid, that tiny red deathstar, and a bunch of lightning effects (like what you got) I ended up putting the deathstar on my AoTC display next to dooku since it made a Lil appearance there and the lighting went to palps and thor, great vid, maybe it can become a series, there's a bunch of cups those figs came with that work well in the cantina display
Very cool Idea! I will look out for similar stuff in the future. BTW does someone know how the vintage collection mando bar scene scales with black figure? Does it just look goofy?
I have a mix of both 3.75 and 6" figures. My Black Series Cal Kestis has Vintage Cal in his arms like he's a little kid, 2hile Big BD-1 has Smol BD-1 perched on his head.
I sometimes like to do this for forced perspectives for art refs; have 6in guys up front, some debris to disguise distance, 3.75in stuff in the midground, and some micromachines/micro galaxy stuff in the back
I’ve been interested in the exact same thing, I’ve been wanting to integrate accessories from super sevens transformers, ultimates figures, quality of super seven toys aside, I really think the accessories that come with them are fitting enough for masterpiece so that’s why I like the idea of mixing those two
Hey your in my hometown, Phat Collectibles is awesome, definitely something I miss from home. love your content and your patreon. I'm a brand new member and loving the hex stands I just printed!
I always enjoy collecting the 3' 3/4" scale figures for years. From vintage to TVC. The problem is there are so many waves after 1985 when Kenner cancelled the line. When Kenner brought the line back and later bought out by Hasbro, the line expanded. However, I enjoy the new sculpts and more articulation. I only wish that Hasbro would list what line is discontinuing so that way collectors can go out and get them before it's to late. What's your opinion?
Im using TVC Maldo Kreis Mandalorians sets spiders with my Black Series Maldo Kreis Mando. They fit in super well. I have one of those smaller spiders crawling in Mandos shoulder
Do you like all of this stuff or are you conditioned to like it only because it's Star Wars? Like, you're talking about having an Ewok diorama, do you like Ewoks in the first place enough? Or is it because it's Star Wars? I'm a crazy collector myself, and me too have bought stuff only for accessories for a bigger goal, but I feel there is a point where we have to ask what we really like of a fandom and what is pushed onto us, maybe you like Ewoks but don't actually care for the battle on Endor, or viceversa, and the discovery of what we actually like and stop thinking about completionism is the actual path for happiness
What Jawa are those ? I want to get some but can't make up my mind being I havnt seen any in person . Thanks and very informative . Your customs are awesome!
The RotS 2005 Crab droid is a bit too big for 3.75 scale. Scales pretty good with six inch, looks nice with a 212th trooper standing on top of it shooting down just like in the movie.
@@332nd_collectibles ok. I asked because I remember Phat collectibles in Anaheim. I'm going to have to check it out. By the way, La Habra has so many fine chick's. You have no idea how lucky you are to have a store like that near you. I haven’t seen that many Star Wars figures in one store for fifteen years
toy department in cincy too!
Excellent ideas. All of them! I about fell out of my chair when I heard the faint "whoosh" when the rock fell off the glider - brilliant!! 🤣🤣🤣 Great video!
Bro just opened up Pandora's Box and didn't even realize it. This is the where the fun begins.
I’m envisioning 9 foot tall Jawas facing off against a squad of regular size stormtroopers.
Cool idea for a video, Luke! Love it. -Justin
My scale is Black Series, but I bought the TVC Nevarro Cantina playset and elevated it with foam so I could create some scenes with my 6" figs in an actual location they can hang out in. Works very well!
Those diorama pieces were really ahead of the curve. Now I'm wondering what bin I but my TVC diroama/bases in.

Think the red Death Star would go really nice with Dooku, reminds me of EP II when he shows the plans for DS

The E-Web cannon that comes with one of the 3.75" Snow Troopers is large enough to work with the BlackSeries

I love the scaling for using the hologram figures for the holocom. And the translucent Death Star.

Nice, I did find that the vintage collection Grogu with pram scaled better with black series than the original black series Grogu.

The old 3.75 Staps also look pretty good with TBS battle droids. The B’Omarr Monk also looks pretty good with 6” figures.
Oh ya! Love the monk one
Keep an eye open for these types of items loose at shops and shows. Often you can find someone who has a box of accessories selling them for cheap.

Very creative ideas and inspiring video! (Btw, the ewok on the glider at the end is Paploo not Teebo)
I’m looking forward to seeing how the POTF2 Momaw Nadon blaster will look in the hands of the black series version once released
The e-Web Blaster cannon of the Power of the Force Snowtrooper, with a small height modification, is perfect on the black series scale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
