Am here 2024 to tell the young ones that will come to listen to this song, Years to come, That 2024 is the year a president called Nana Addo destroy the economy of Ghana 🇬🇭 😊
Adofo is popularly known in Ghana as "The Black Chinese". A bonafide Kwahu from "The Mountains", he is a nephew of Immortal Nana Ampadu. Yes, the video was shot in Eastern Nigeria. The Igbos LOOOVE Adofo.
I love adofo
Ghana music forever
Yes,Igbos welcome every body we are not in support of the Ghana must go non sense.
+chuks keep giving old school
chuks yes of course my brother igbo are always different from other tribes in Nigeria we welcome all with good aims and good minds
I bet this song is 100 times more popular in Nigeria than Ghana. Hated it so much growing up in the early 2000s cos it was played in every corner in Anambra State. How much I love it now.😂
Talk about Ghana music! Aba and Onitsha confirm. City boys , Nana and Odoyewu. Wicked politicians just spoiled Aba for us.
Still playing 2024
Very good song loved and played by my father back then, he loved and played Ghana music, he also spoke Ghana languages and had many friends from Ghana, he was from Nigeria, Cross River State to be precise. We have that close affinity with the Ghananians
I was small when my senior brother plays this music. I called it Ghana's trade mark in Ghana music industry
I appreciate that almost all the comments are coming from mostly Eastern Nigeria, ...but I get find out J A Adofo and his City Boys Band comes from the highlands of the Kwahu mountains of Eastern Ghana.
Indeed music has no boundaries!
Great post.
This song na igbo boys go dance it for you u go like it
Very much played and enjoyed in Naija than in Ghana who own the music....lol
Long life Ghana and City Boys...I'm loving it Mehnn!!
No be lie, mostly in Aba😂
Not true. Hey we're big stars in Ghana. He is still alive. Thus was my childhood music my parents played non stop
My landlord daughters sang all of this song like they are from Ghana
I am Nigerian but I grew up with this song. My father's turn table is always agog with it
This is when Ghanaian music brings us closer to our spiritual life, those days I was very young and I didn't even know that there is a country call ghana but we all love this music. I can tell you that Nigerians love and enjoy this music more than Ghanaians. When music is music not what we have right now.
All the ashawo joints used to play this man music
This is a Ghanaian song but from the comments it's sad Nigerian's look more supportive than Ghanaians, till date Ghanaians will never support their own
Am not understand it but am enjoying it with my Heineken hahahahaha 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Old days were sooo good. Anytime l think of old days when l was very young & following the city boys to Kwahu bc of their beautiful performance & today we dont get it anymore sa 1st, l bcome sad.
Good old days, younger generation will not understand how this song hits differently back in the days

I remember growing up in Sapele Delta state Nigeria in the 19s my uncle always play this song every morning ❤
Wow! This old Ghanaian highlife song appear to have had its good time in Nigeria. I see lots of wonderful and memorable comments from our Nigerian brothers and sisters. I guess most of them may not have even understood the words since it is in Ghanaian language. But of course, great songs have no boundaries. Great memories indeed!!!!!
It was played by our fathers back then when growing up.
It even trended more in naija than in ghana
Ghana only sang the song in nigeria we play and enjoy it more than Ghana
Back then We use Igbo to sing it.... In the 80s Ghana songs brought joy to Nigeria...
Oh, 😂music is a greatest reminder. As an Onitsha boy, this music reminds me sooooo much of my childhood... Upper Iweka, Iweka Road, markets, streets, pubs. Just everywhere. It's difficult to remember an Igbo musician that was more popular. Great African voices
This song as of late 19s/2000 play in every hotel in Aba Eyinba city abia state in Nigeria go and ask is more of Nigeria song then Ghana we still love it till tomorrow play it to people who grow with it and see the joy in there eyes
Listening to this song I feel like we are in another world

This song is synonymous to Upper Iweka doings, kaikai joints.
I remember back then in Onitsha, this music was more played by arm robbers lol. It really trended in Nigeria then and majority doesn't even understand the lyrics. Good memories
Truth because they will be smoking Indian hemp and will be dancing oneside

When music was music, even though i don’t understand the language but i enjoy every bit of the music!
Everything in our life though us about something.. Remembrance and memories are perfectly good for living..... Some people sees the then bad life in those Nana Ampadu and City Boys days... but it tell a whole story of it's own. I flash back through the years with 1 track.. I remember, virtually everything that transpired in my life and how people are made and some wasted. Above all, the music reminds me how we are bought up!!! I love the music...... Early 80s was sweet too.
