I saw something that made me reconsider Korekiyo though. I feel like he was mostly manipulated by his sister through his childhood. I think he might have been a really lonely and isolated kid, and his sister being the only one by his side, and not exactly being a good influence, his feelings towards her became twisted. I feel like he might also have been victim of some kind of abuse, hence why he is constently trying to find beauty even in the ugliest parts of humanity. Because, if there's no beauty there, then he would never have known any beauty at any point in his life.
