I played with a guitar player who set the tempo for each song in practice and I made sure I wrote them down. Started each song on the practiced tempo, he'd stop playing, come over and change it. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower, several times every time we played together..
It’s crazy cause I’ve played with almost every type you mentioned considering I play both drums and piano. So it’s very relatable on both ends 😂‼️ but my biggest pet peeves are the ones who are behind and slow the music down🤦🏾♂️
