I hear you on the hair loss. I lost 70% of my hair 4 months after Covid. I got it the first time round when there was no vaccines etc. I then got Long Covid. I have been unable to dye my hair for years now, having to embrace the grey whether I want to or not. I thought I was getting back to myself when found myself in peri-menopause and now menopause. My hair loss never really went away but it is soul destroying to see more coming out every time I wash or brush it. Sometimes it sucks being a woman.
I'm 69 and Covid in 2020 and long haul for close to a year. I've had hair , eyebrows and eyelash loss. I know my age has something to do with it but I've heard from friends my age and younger with the same problems. I've been in menopause quite awhile and my hot flashes are even worse. I have insomnia worse than ever. I blame it all on Covid.
An utterly brilliant box here. I look forward to this one every year! They've really nailed it with the sizes and brands in here - all fab! The Sweed lipstick looks interesting as well. The shade is right up my street and I'm always on the lookout for a gentle bit of colour for a more natural look too. I've snapped this one up. Can't wait for it to arrive! 🙌
Yes to a Mounjaro video! I’m on 10mg just going to 12.5mg next week, and I love it, but for weightloss. It’d be amazing to have a video of another perspective though. Good luck with the sulphur burps, I’ve heard they are horrid 😅❤
My fave primer! Personally think it’s underrated. I use it for a fresh hydrated looking face over my skin care as final step for my no makeup up days x
I have traction alopecia. So there’s some thinning. So I get ya. My friend has PCOS and changed her diet. I have endometriosis and my hormones are out of whack. The iud has helped me. Good luck with your health journey.
Off topic to the video, but I'm on Mounjaro (pre diabetic) and I go up to 5mg tomorrow after 5 weeks and I'm also dreading it. It'd be interesting to hear your story on it.
My husband is on Mounjaro for Diabetes and I can concur with the burps they stink! Although he has lost over a stone in 5 weeks. Were hoping it doesn’t turn into the struggles we had with Ozempic, he was put on that for his blood sugars then pharmacies couldn’t get hold of it because people were buying it up for weight loss 😢. Loving the box though, it might be a Christmas present to myself.

I really agree on the hair serums, I’m using the one from gruum currently just for some areas along my parting. It says you can use it everyday but I always wake up with really greasy hair as my hair is so fine and it always has to be washed the day after so I can’t use it everyday. I do wonder if that makes it pointless but I’m persevering. I hate washing my hair everyday as it’s so stripping that my hair can become brittle when I do
I'd love to try the ampoules and the Grande Lash. I wouldn't use the palette and I'm far to lazy to blow dry my curly hair. I think I'll hold off until Black Friday. I'd love a video on Monjaro as I've no idea what it is!
I use the grow gorgeous hair serum and I do swear by it, I used to have frail hair and it fell out alot and my widows peaks were getting bigger and I was really worried I would go bald from the front to back. I use it every other day and I wouldn't be without it now as I have my old hairline back and my hair grows and it isn't thicker as I've always had fine hair but I now have lots of it. I will never stop using it. I have tried eyelash serums but they don't seem to work but my hair did respond so I aren't to bothered. I have alot of these things already some in more than 1 including the bumbum cream in the 240mls and the full sized Eve Lom cleanser, which I like the smell, but like you it's a wash off so even if I didn't like the smell I would still use it. The face palette I aren't bothered about and the 111skin ampoules, I have used different ones but as you only get 7 days suppy, it doesn't do enough and at over £100 for them theres no point for me as I'd rather buy Bioeffect serum, it works for me and is cheaper. I used to buy these beauty chests every year but I didn't really like last years and I have so much of this already that I won't get it this year either. Tfs though, if I could get itcwith 2 different oroducts from 111skin and Grandelash, I would probably get it but.. Xx😊❤
Give the supernatural spray another go. I have very fine hair, the first time I used it, it was a bit of a disaster. The 2nd time, I properly sectioned and sprayed each section, then used my ghd duet. It worked wonders!!!!! Also, could you do a before and after of the 111 skin ampoules please? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Great video!! X
I think this is a lovely box with some great products. I’m glad I got it for £113 with code and voucher though. The price to this has drastically increased this year and although the products are good, are they better than previous years to justify the £50 raise in price? xx

I think a lot of the advent calendars will be on sale next month for Black Friday so maybe hold out and you could save some cash if you decide to go for an advent. Also Cult Beauty are releasing Xmas boxes soon and they are pretty reasonably priced with good products. Sephora Advent calendar dipped in price around Black Friday last year and so did Cult Beauty. I got the Glossybox Advent for £54 in November a couple of years ago so you may find a bargain x

Augustinus Bader puts me off. It made my skin red and hot. I wonder if anyone else experienced this? I'm struggling to lose a lot of weight and I'd love to watch your experience taking Mounjaro. If it's good, I'll buy it. By the way, I do realize you've weight in your few videos.💖
That’s so unfortunate you reacted badly to the Augustinus Bader cream. I have SUPER sensitive and dry skin and got one of these in an advent calendar last year. When I first tried it I was quite concerned due to the texture - it was a bit like sudocream! 😂 I expected to wake up, with a face full of spots and blemishes but it was the complete opposite! My skin looked and felt amazing! I absolutely love the stuff but just wouldn’t pay the full price for it.
@@jiylees Lucky you! I spent a lot of money buying products for face redness. 😅 I used to have even face tone until I tried AB. My God, I've patchy red spots all over my face. Hopefully my face will heal before Christmas. So any calendars that has AB, I'll just pass. 😅
@@AbbyShueyou will be allergic to 1 ir more of the products in it, I am allergic to certain essential oils so have to be careful. You need a gentle cream to help sooth your skin and maybe try a barrier support cream or oil, I use Rens evercalm barrier support elixir but you could try Crewe, thats gentle too. Good luck and you have 11 weeks to Christmas so should be fine 😊
Didn’t know the Monjaro works on insulin resistance so I would be really interested in how you get on with it. Ive hashimos and reactive hypoglycaemia plus Addisons plus cuckoo hormones and used to have cysts in my ovaries and uterus but not polycystic and adenymyosis and endometriosis and now am menopausal and have zero oestrogen ap that’s made my thyroid and Addisons flare up and the steroids to keep me alive now have caused pre diabetes! 🤷♀️🤣 I mean it’s just a right palava staying alive isn’t it! 😂
They tried putting me onto Metformin for my pcos, I refused to take it after reading the leaflet in the box! It can have severe reactions with other medications I take for other conditions. They have my full medical history and yet still have it to me blindly! Told me it would help with “insulin resistance” but never did any tests to find out if I have insulin resistance! I assume I do as I’m several stone heavier then I should be, and can’t seem to shift it 🤦🏻♀️
Hi there please be careful with munjaro. It's considered medication for diabetes and if u don't have diabetes are doing more damage to ur body than good. I was placed on similar medication also having pcos and it nearly killed me. When u do go off it ur body goes into shock and u pick up any weight u might have lost 3 fold. It's very dangerous. Just a friendly caring wonder as someone with the same diagnosis and symptoms of pcos. I've had pcos since I was 14 am 35 now. ❤
I cannot stand the smell of the eve lom products and do not use them because of this. I liked the box much beter last year and it was cheaper so pass the year.

Metformin gave me such a bad side effects 😕 I swapped to natural berberine and it’s much better
