Yeah, people actually make a lot from these markets, although they usually have more expertise than average, or they use experts i.e. hedge funds or financial advisors. There's a goldmine in the market, especially as the Nasdaq is rising. There's a reason most wealthy people do it.

Investors be aware of the $38 Reorganization fee that Etrade will charge you if your stock merge or reverse stock split etc. Even if you only have 1 dollar on that split stock you will be obligated to pay a $38 dollar fee for every single stock that merge, reverse split etc.

If you are a beginner trader/investor customer service should be #1 when choosing a brokerage platform. What good is using a platform if you are confused and need help/service to navigate these brokerage platforms. There are many times where Robinhood's app completely crashed and there is no customer service and no way to access your money or cancel a trade. Is it easy to get your tax forms in a timely matter or is there issues. I favor Fidelity and Schwab because of customer service.

Schwab doesn't truly have fractional shares, they only have it on their slices accounts. No fractional shares on a standard individual taxable account or tax deferred accounts like Roth IRA. I still like it tho and prefer the relative safety of being with one of the Big dogs over smaller new platforms.

Schwab is ranked too high should be D tier at the highest. Ameritrade was much better too bad I'm forced into using Schwab.
Schwab data doesn't even have real-time data, you have to keep refreshing. My info isn't clearly laid out and alot is in submenus for no reason. The graphs don't show the high-low range when you click different time frames.

ETRADE offers fractional shares since 2022. They just have bad marketing for it. However, they have caveats.
    - Only for the top 100 ETFs.
    - Only with the Automatic investing (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).
    - $25 minimum for each investment.
    - Always processed investment on a Tuesday.

This is underrated aspect if you want to sell covered calls on SPY.
      - Auto invest monthly into SPY until you reach 100 shares
      - While waiting to reach 100 shares of SPY, use ETRADE's practice trading to get familiar with selling options. Also called "paper trading ".
      - After reaching 100 shares of SPY and months of paper trading, then start selling covered calls of SPY in non-bullish months (February & September).

    Great Vid,
During my 6yrs ,of trading. I used so many to grow my portfolio.
U r Correct, I started with Acorns n Betterment. (U reminded me Btrmnt had to go too).
Then grew into Robinhood n M1 (yes now annoying).
Then on to Ally, Sofi n Webull.
After losing my brother, I now have E-Trde too.
    That makes 8, but I have 10.
Stockpile (likeable) n Stash (meh), too.
Guess they did not make the list?
    Why so many ?
    As you pointed out.
Some brokers/ brokerages, have grown up, over the past 7yrs.
If one does not have a feature, stock (ADR) or trading window, I like or need? That's how I got to 10.

I think robinhood lacks a lot of functionality like the ability to buy bonds and Treasury bills and it lacks connectivity to things like quicken and their stock transaction history is just HORRIBLE. I do like that options and stock trading is commission free .. that is the only thing it has going for it.

    • @Da_GrandiMan

      Correct,

One day your cash bal is 0.
      The next day it's $100.
A lil clarification, wud be nice.
      I am aware,
That Stocks n ETF's come n go, Split both ways, Get Brought Out n go Private.
      The Hood's, Tranz history is only good, for Div's, Dep's, WD's n Trades ???
Their monthly stmts aren't much better, either.

We are already in the big crash, inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issues is that the other market are being decimated. If you want to stay green you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 15% and being carful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other options. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyper-inflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
