You spend so many years with them loving them, taking care of them, teaching them and watching them grow until one day (and that day comes so fast) they move on to create their own lives and your left with a void in your life you don't know what to do with. Nothing really fills that void, not even knowing that you raised an amazing kid and they wouldn't be who they are and be out in the world creating their own lives if it wasn't for you being a good parent. That role was the most important to me. My 1st born now lives on the other side of the world from me and is married. I miss her and seeing her face everyday more than I can explain so my advice to you is do not ever waste a second with her, they grow so fast. Make sure she always knows how much you love her and one day when she leaves to create her own way in the world, know she wouldn't have gotten there if she didn't have you to guide her. ❤
