Honestly, im fine with us not having a red vs black 2024. Even if it was mainly what I stayed for you are not entitled to make anything for us. Red VS Black already had a fantastic conclusion. Anything more than what weve gotten would purely be fanservice at this point. What you want to do is ultimately more important than garnering views. So keep persuing where the passion is, man. It truly is unfortunate that people only see what they wanna see instead of the work you truly put effort into, but i dont think itd be worth trying to chase views by making animations that you yourself arent passionate about. The best animations are ones done with a genuine passion, not out of obligation.

@@TrulyMBDian Yea. I feel like the reason I like his animation now has deviated from the main purpose of me subscribing to his channel. I originally just liked his animation and the progress he made throughout the years and I feel like I shouldn't just like a single work of his if my purpose of subscribing to his channel was because of his growth. (BTW I checked the video that he talked about and the animation was so good that it made me reconsider the way I view his animation.)

Do whatever you want and feel like that strives you to a goal you want to achieve or something that gives you interests and creativity.
Me personally enjoys ur animations very creative and gives me curiosity of the imaginative mind that goes for a lot of animators i've seen projects after projects...creativty is pretty infinite with countless possibilities which makes fun and interesting even the maker has a bond with their own creations.
Not gonna lie, I found your work through Hyun's Dojo uploading Red vs Black. Immediately checked out your channel and latched on to The Ghost Story. While, yes it is somewhat related to Red vs Black, it's not what sold it.
You have very good short storytelling talent. And I found that out very quickly when you uploaded "ｍｙ ｆａｍｉｌｙ". The video speaks for itself. The Nominated Individual Championship is definitely the culmination of your work, so far. Loved every frame of it!
Honestly, I could say just do what makes you happy and the people will come, but I feel like that's being disingenuous. I'm not gonna tell you what you "need" to do since you didn't ask for it and I'm a nobody to you, but it's all up to you what's next. All I can do is wish you good luck at the moment and all we can do is join along for the ride.
We all understand, it's sad that we won't have a Red vs Black this year, but still we will have other cool animations. We live in the society so boobs and stuff will always be mainstream.

Edit: just want to say as one of the major powerscallers of red vs balck in the comments of 2023 i'm not mad about not getting 2024z in fact i'm quite happy, because I personally got annoyed at seeing the constant stream of "red vs black 2024?" Genuinely was inches away from throwing hissy fits in comments lol, but i'm proud of you mirco because most people would fall to statistics they'd do what generates, watch time, views, money, what not, instead of what they actually care for, if anything i believe this post alone should gather more of a following than red vs black did but we know that may not happen, but if it does it would be amazing to see the recognition for such a decision.

One of my favourite quotes goes sorta like “We are in his world, we make time for him. Not the other way around” Your creations are your own, you don’t have to make nothing for the audience. Your core fan base will always make time to enjoy your stuff.

I came from red and black, and stayed along the journey, I personally just love watching micro mist videos, the progress in his animation and the way he never fails to impress me, Its so entertaining, and to be honest, I'm more into the ghost storyline more than red and black (even if they are in the same universe) I just like watching his videos though, I never found any to disappoint me, And I get how it can be so annoying if you are being bugged 24/7 about red and black 2024, Just don't listen to those comments and continue the stuff you wanna do out of YOUR passion.

I personally dont care if you wont do a Black vs Red animation for this year, or a new chapter or smth related to Ghost. The stuff that you pushed out so far were more than good enough and i stuck around because of those other stuffs, not just BvR.
After I saw this I was kinda sad not getting a new part of my favorite animation series I guess is the best way to put it, thought after watching all the red vs blacks and watching like a lot of ur other stuff I feel bad for the people who only watch you because of red vs black and hope you can get more people that care about the rest of your amazing work

Whatever you choose to animate, I'd be happy to watch. Yea some may be more interested in something that is easier to remember, though pleasing everyone is a ridiculous and impossible goal. Remember that your epic, not for what was done, but for the skills you have. As the past will fade, but can talk about the skills present and what might be in the future.

Isn’t it funny that something we create as animators that gets so much traction is usually the thing that we made with no intention of continuing/don’t have a strong passion in making? It seemed like a fun little project to test what you know but then it just blows up and you are suddenly pressured into making more of that in order to maintain that traction… Getting that attention is very enticing for sure, but making what you love and makes you happy is highly undervalued by the masses. I’d like to animate something that I actually care about that is fun and original rather than risqué or niche… I’m glad that you’re still going to make the stuff you want to despite the demand for ‘24! 💪🏽

When I saw in the discord there probably wasn't gonna be a 2024 I had mixed feelings and was confused when this came out. I'll still hang around the RUclips channel to see your fanbase slowly but surely switch to another thing other than red vs black
Yeah ngl I get what you mean and how you feel. A lot of popular stick figure anaimtors in the community eventually moved to full body or advanced animation sometime down the line, besides improvement is better, and no one can deny that.
I think the white one intervened to see what there power levels at and will return when they've reached a strength that will challenge him

I honestly got into your content bc of Red Vs Black 20** and really loved it but i kinda saw a trend from the viewers with non stop asking for Red Vs Black. I dislike how SOME of the community is only for Red Vs Black while others are not. That being said do whatever makes you happy. Me personally dude, even if red vs black 2024 isn't to come, I've been enjoying so many things on this channel ever since I came here. Though RVB was something that got me hooked, it wasn't the very thing that made me definitively decide, "Hey, this guy is awesome!", personally your work gives me many things including even garnering some imagination in me that maybe died inside awhile ago. Whether it be something completely outta nowhere or unexpected, please do the things that make you happy, these works of art whether they be RVB or not instill a lot, so thanks man. Have a good day!

It’s your channel do what you what you want man. If you want to stop stick fights entirely that’s your choice not ours as viewers. Now if you want to possibly keep stick fights alive for a bit you can try this without actually bringing them back fully. You could try doing short practice fight sequences or effects used for said ‘fights’ as experimentation for your main projects, but use these practices and experiments as experience for yourself and ‘food’ for those that came for ‘Red vs Black’ content (aka fight animations). You could even throw in references in your main animations as call backs to ‘Red vs Black’ like your new characters performing a short segment from the stick fight animations as a call back. You could also have characters give vague references to the 2 fighters Red and Black. Calling them those colors because that’s what color they primarily wore, and because anyone who got vaguely close enough to ask their names did not survive the ensuing fights. Another option is make a sort of short video series like 1-3 minute videos of new stick figure fights that are any where from serious to comical ‘fights/interactions’ for fun that you don’t have to go all out on, and use them as experiments/experiences. Hell you could make a miniseries out of them for just fun, and/or a prelude to a new series if you wanted a less serious one. Food for thought and just suggestions to help you out and get those creative juices flowing in your noggin. Best of luck to your future endeavors! 👍

True, this video speaks so much regarding lots of creators out there. Either to appease the audience and keep up with the algorithm or create what you love and gather loyal audience who can support what you love that aligns to what they like
Short story from mine, same. I also loved the Red VS Black series and the funny end bits, I wanted more from the animator so I binged watched every video. I was really satisfied and best of all, I've went frame by frame with some of your videos to learn from. The series And I've been watching Since ghost's fight with Shane. I wish people would get out of their comfort zone more. But keep doing what you love man, you're doing fantastic
I'm alright with not having a Red vs Black 2024, though I would want to see how you'd top the previous one. I haven't watched the animation you spend 4 months on, only cause I never knew it existed (no offense, I don't follow your content like that), but it seems interesting. I think I'd like to see more of that, but do what you like, man. From what I've seen in this video, you put a lot of effort into that, and it is saddening to me that people treat such talented people like you as an object. I asked my dad about something one time, about why he didn't want to do this certain thing and make it public. He said, "Because that's what I don't want to be known for." It's like popular acrobatic people. When someone meets them, they want 'em to do a flip, do a monkey trick to satisfy their wants. This seems like another Bosh situation if you ask me.

Dude don’t worry about red vs black 2024 or anything like that. What’s most important is that you enjoy what you and that you have fun. We’re just spectators, I hope any stress you’re having is relieved.
I believe the individual nominated championship was absolutely kick ass, but the reason it didn't perform as well as Red vs Black, aside from the fact that, well, it wasn't RvB, was that it implied a story, but that story wasn't really explained.
Red vs Black has the charm that it's just two funny stickmen beating the living daylights out of eatchother. Nothing more, nothing less.
The chosen one submission felt almost lacking, not because it was badly animated, not at all (I'd argue many of it's parts are cooler than Red v's Black), but it feels as if it's u finished. Like there's half a plot or story that's missing from it.
