I discovered Aurora based on a personality type video. She is a perfect example of my personality type. She is a great person, but it is very interesting to watch her do interviews. She is very contemplative. You can tell that she is a deep thinker. Particularly interesting to me was the way she seemed to slow down the hyper energy that the interviewer lead with. The interviewer has a lot of extroverted, social energy but only 30 seconds into the interview she slows down a bit so as not to leave Aurora in the dust. It feels that Aurora is conscious of the interviewer's pace and Aurora's own pace of speech. Aurora is aware of the social energy difference between the two of them and Aurora knows that she can't keep up. She pushes herself to be outgoing anyway as she knows she is on the spot. She knows she needs to be outgoing and elaborate on her answers to questions but it is a struggle for her as she is acutely self aware and hyper energy is not in her nature. When Aurora speaks, she often pauses mid sentence. She pauses because she has to have a little more time to put her thoughts into words. Sometimes she pauses mid sentence and then changes her sentence altogether. Other times she is thinking of the right way to describe things. Aurora seems acutely self aware of how she is coming across throughout the interview. It is also interesting that when the interviewer says, "How are you?" Aurora says, "I'm good," without elaborating at all. At the end of the interview the interviewer says "Thank you so much and we're looking forward to see you tonight." And Aurora just kind of smiles and doesn't say anything. Aurora isn't all that inclined to talk somebody's ear off but rather, she has to push herself to speak unless she is speaking about something she is particularly passionate about like the message of her album. Aurora is a female and I am a male, but other than that, I felt like I was listening to myself.
Same I reckon I would have got on with her at school lol, we would have been in the same year, only born 2 months apart, both INFP, natural introverts, gamers and readers, imaginative/curious, Ravenclaws etc - only difference is she’s super talented and has the courage to just be herself no matter what people think lmao 😂

I've searched "Aurora Interview" multiple times....and the results page? 40% are actual Aurora interviews...mostly ones I've already seen. 30% are videos about Aurora...but not interviews. And 30% are about monster trucks or some other _totally random_ thing. And yet this video is 6 years old....and I've NEVER seen it? That's only possible because YT's search algorithm suuuuucks. I remember a time when it wasn't like this too. I remember when you would search for something like "submarine schematics" and 100% of the search results were about.......submarine schematics. gah....sorry, rant over. I had to vent. :P
