There isn’t a single experience that will be better without that lost soul in your life then it would have been with them. Even though the best days are over it’s absolutely possible to still have good moments. It may take a while but there’s no larger motivation of elevation then being able to see some beauty again. This song has been out awhile now. I have tried to tell my story through a comment a dozen times. I always delete it and never post it. I have always been the person that my family and friends came to for a shoulder to cry on. I have always been the strong one. I have always been the one that knew what to say and do to make people feel better. But truthfully, I'm so messed up in the head that I can't even talk about things with the people I'm closest to. They dont understand because they havent been through it. When I hear this song, it makes me understand that there are people out there that know what the pain is and it makes things a little easier.

You’re not alone! I feel the exact same way! I’m always the one that all my family family and friends come to meanwhile I’m a controlled mess in so many ways! Struggles always been a good writer, from "barely surviving" to "outlaw shit", and he just keeps growing as an artist, just like his boy jelly. First time I saw what struggle looked like, he had long ass braids, and so did jelly roll. Never thought I'd see em both knocking down doors in the country music scene.
