FNaF 3 was supposed to be in the end, but the fandom complained it wasn't scary, so Scott made FNaF 4.
The fandom was unsatisfied with where the lore was left, so Scott made Sister Location.
However, Scott felt He raised more questions than he answered, so he made FNaF 6.
The fandom then begged for a custom night, so Scott made UCN.
I don't have an explanation for the rest of the series.

This still works in the current lore. This song held up so well because it made 0 lore based claims (other than setting the place, 'purple man' and on fire and fazbear frights) and was strictly banger based. Even better, it predicted some things that are just common knowledge now e.g. 'left to rot, can you smell me yet' being William Afton stuck in the safe room.

I love how long the strings of rhymes are. Instead of switching the rhyme every two lines or every other line, the whole verse/section uses the same end sound and there's some really cool, slightly unexpected ways of keeping the pattern going.
