Does anyone remember a Wham-O toy that came out in the late 70s or early 80s? It was red and yellow and made noise. My brother said it wasn't as big as groan sticks but it made a similar noise. He thought it was called crazy stick or silly stick but he is positive that Wham-O made it. I have been searching for 2 hours on google images and can't find it. We are in reminiscing mode.
I grew up in the 70s and I remember how dumb these toys were..and dangerous how did I survived the house chemistry set and wood burner.. with the 12 cord so you were right close to the drapes 👏👏👏
Thanks for posting this! What crazy products but the good thing is that it makes kids active and a lot of them they are playing outside. You don't see as many overweight kids back in the 1960's. It looks like Super Stuff was the same as today's Slime.
19:42 Some real dirty false advertising going on here. Obviously the visual here is played in reverse to give the illusion of the hoop going upwards. Even though her hair is short, its backwards follow-through is a telling sign that it's not really going up but down.
The music at 20:07 is called Fender Vendor by The White Caps from Blue River Records. Also known as Saxaboogie from Carlin Production Music/Archive Series.
Some of these items took no effort at all. Who knew a bent piece of wood could be marketed as a toy? No wonder you've never heard of the Hula Board. Wham-O was still the premier toy company of its day. I've got the Wham-O Superbook, chronicling many of the company's best toys. Kids these days have no idea.
These are hysterical those knocker balls "Do it with your teeth!" I had no idea Whamo satiated the market this much remember superelastic bubble plastic? I think that was a Whamo toy Im certain inhaling those fumes accounts for some of my learning disabilities 🤣😂🤣
Wham-O Wing Ding.
Our Father bought is for us in 1980s.
Our Father is no more. But this reminds us of his love.

Steven Zeitchik's article in the Los Angeles Times (08/13/17) brought me here.
This reminds me of a parody from the first SNL caste Dan Aykroyd was selling "Bag- O- Glass" for kids
