Local Summer Barnegat Bay

Join us for a heartfelt and adventurous day on the waverunner as we celebrate the memory of our beloved father George Christian Tisch. In this special tribute, Jon and I embarked on an unforgettable journey, starting from Seaside Park and venturing into the scenic wonders of the Jersey Shore.
Our journey began with the wind on our face we cruised alongside Island Beach State Park and the tranquil Sedge Islands Conservation area. The breathtaking views and serene surroundings served as a perfect reflection of the cherished moments we shared with Dad.
We couldn't resist the thrill of the waves, so we took a quick ride to the end of the inlet, where the ocean met the bay. The feeling of the sea spray on our faces was a reminder of Dad's love for the water and his adventurous spirit.
Continuing our exploration, we ventured further into Barnegat Bay, soaking in the beauty of the North End of Long Beach Island. Along the way, we enjoyed some sightseeing and even stopped for a leisurely lunch at the Sandbar where we enjoyed a swim and some solitude.
Our day took an unexpected turn when we came to the aid of a jet boat that had run aground on the sandbar. It was a reminder of the importance of lending a helping hand, just as Dad had always taught us.
As if in tribute to Dad's sense of humor, we found ourselves momentarily stuck ourselves not long after. Laughter filled the air as we managed to free ourselves and continue our journey.
