Here's a topic I'm interested in hearing about from the WWII era up through Korea and Vietnam. How do soldiers who had Paper identification and other written documents such as written orders or field reports that would be required to be brought back to headquarters after returning from the Frontlines, keep those important papers protected when in battle and exposed to all sorts of elements such as getting wet when storming the beaches or crawling through the mud in the rain or the snow in bastogne or the humid and wet jungle environments in the Pacific theatre?
@@standinthedoor1944 it's just the base types. A serif font has flourishes, or serifs. The sans (or not) font is just plain. This for example is a sans-serif font. Great video, Keep it up sir.
Awesome, I am building dome reproductions with original contents minus the original morphine box. I had thought they used waxed white small bandages but see the original had a plastic wrapped one. I have a bunch of these I can use. I need to find more tourniquets which have become tough to find. I love your content. I would like to purchase a couple of empty versions of your first aid kit pouch as it is the best on the market!!

You should show a video of your entire Normandy impression!!!
Great idea, I’ll start planning that one!
@@standinthedoor1944Question. How did U.S. paratroops get sulfa powder then, if it wasn't in their first-aid pouches?
Wow. Your attention to detail is second to none my friend 🤙🇺🇸
Appreciate you watching and being here 👍
Always intresting! Keep up the good work! :)
Thank you!
I believe what you were trying to say is Serif and San-Serif font.
😂 lol you are right. Most of the time people could care less about the names. They more want to just see the difference.

The more things change, the more they stay the same...
We had the same stuff, but modern in our modern IFAK kits.
Might get one
Awesome 👍 let me know if you have any questions!
Nice to see you have the correct WWII muzzle cap and carry handle on your machine gun.
Thx. Set it up exactly the way Dan carried his!
Your attention to detail is awesome but using the word "whenever", when you should be using "when", is killing me!
