I seriously thinking about getting the icon and using it to travel around the US. Your mods looks great and gave me some good ideas. I think the 800 would be plenty fast without adding extra weight. My G310 is just about fast enough so an 800 dual cylinder bike should be perfect. After sitting on a couple it's the perfect height and balance (I'm 5'5").
yes, I like the low stance as well. especially when going off road it gives you good footing. as for the speed, they go around 125 miles per hour and get there very quickly, I don't think speed will be an issue for you! ;)
Oh my Oh my. We were doing well Sir, I was watching your videos and telling you how interesting and innovative they were etc. Then we come to the one where a stoopid loud exhaust has been put on........ it often happens this way.
well, it is neither "stupid" or very loud and about 10 kilos less weight than that original. but of course, to each his own. Don't be too quick to condemn others for their mods just because you may not like them, that is what makes each motor our own.
Onore a te!!🤙🤙👍👍💪
thanks bro, yea, I live in the Republic of Georgia, so I doubt anyone will come here to steal my bike! But yea, good principle to follow for sure, especially for you in the West. I am from there, but live here.
Awesome build! Ive been looking for a high front fender for a while all are too expensive or out of stock. What size bolts did you use on this? Also does the fender interfere with the bike turning at all?
Hi, there are bolt holes under the triple clamp. You just need to drill the holes in the fender so that it is out front far enough not to hit the oil cooler.
it was pretty simple, there are 4 bolt places under the triple clamp, I just used two with some large washers for stability and it is holding very snugly. You just need to drill a couple holes in the fender and make sure it is sitting forward enough so it does not hit the oil cooler.
hey, great question! No, actually where I live in Tbilisi, Georgia I know of no Dyno shops. But I have been thinking about it as I want to rework the airbox to make it breath better and also easier to get to. So far, I have been checking the plugs and they do look a little lean (as in white) but not to a worry point.
I have an fmf power core 4 in my shop from a wr450. After seeing what you did I thought I would do the same. Didn’t know if I could get away with out remapping. Nearest Ducati dealer to me is 5 hours from me. I live in the Texas panhandle.
Sir you are a inspiration... Next I'll pick up a icon second hand and go your way... Thanks... Love and respect from India🇮🇳
thanks buddy! God bless you!

My dad just picked up a 2021 scrambler, this is an outstanding build! I love it! I'm tempted to sell my drz400 and pick up a scrambler myself!!
well, I sure enjoy mine a lot. But I also have a Husky for serious off road, you might want to keep the DRZ as well. :)
@@MotoWorld777 Yeah, I have a nicely setup DR650 too so that could be my more aggressive bike and then the Duc for maybe longer stretches.

Dookati....love the way Americans say this from a Brit.

Thanks Lyn!

gratsi! I think all is legal though.
Hey man, Great Build. Your license plate is clearly visible so I suggest you blur it out using the inbuild RUclips Feature. Best regards

Great work! How did you mount the front fender?

That’s really nice ! Did you remap the fuel injection for the DG muffler?

How did you attach the front fender in the higher position?
there are bolt holes under the lower triple clamp for the Urban Enduro model.
@@MotoWorld777 thanks! Thinking about picking up one of these scramblers
@@fa-ajn9881 you are in for a lot of thrills and fun!
