Real Friends by Shannon Hale and LeUyen Pham is an amazing social and emotional learning resource that highlights the fine art of friendship.
I picked up this graphic novel because I was working with a student that struggled with maintaining friendships. The student was into graphic novels so I went searching for books about friendship. This book seemed promising and within the first few pages, I saw the potential as a social and emotional book study.
