Damn, I have to say, I was with a CAU Delta for a good lil minute. Ultimately, the one thing I admired most about them collectively was their integrity to their brand. It seemed like all they stood for was excellence, precision and superior class. I have to be honest, however, I don't see any of that in this performance at all. Outta sync, unimpressive. Truth be told, If I didn't see any of their paraphernalia or their introduction, I would've never guessed in a million years this was DST.
Lots of haters here...Do yo thang ladies! The choreographers of this routine have so much talent!!!!

Whether you agree or disagree with the performance, there is also a respectful way to express dissatisfaction with something. As a member of Delta, I agree with the Soror that stated, "keep Delta business in-house". The public bashing and belittling isn't warranted and certainly is not representative of the Sisterhood our organization holds in such high regard. As a NY MADE Delta and someone that knows these women personally, I can say in complete confidence that you should not judge someone's character by one performance and certainly by no measure of an AGP show, which is strictly for entertainment. If you want something to render an opinion on, comment on the fact that each of them has graduated with mid-to-high 3 GPAs; that our chapter, both collectively and its individual members have won numerous awards for the work that we have done within our campus community and within the surrounding community gaining recognition from local Alumnae chapters, our school, NPHC and more;
That in spite of being a very small percentage of a predominantly white institution where the African American population is less than 15% (the African American female population being even less) we still manage to accomplish all of these things and gain the respect of and have the ability to influence our Caucasian Greek counterparts and influence change where it matters. Having been awarded Global Scholar honors, Dean's list recognition consecutively, and having served in NY Metro Council office, I think my chapter sorors and the few young women who strolled with them from a different NY chapter have done exactly what they should have done and continue to do so in the name of Delta. So when you talk about being MADE RIGHT, let's redirect that conversation to something other than social excellence. Let's chat about education, influence, impact and continuously serving and then let me know if you can wholeheartedly stand by your words. And not that I felt I needed to explain all...

Sorors especially, please remember the oath by which we live, those fundamental principles and what those 9 signify before you turn up on RUclips with this slanderous gossip. i am a member of a HSO and we do strolls like them.My organization looks up to them i didnt see anything wrong with it they did a fine job and if anyone have ah problem with it how about you get up there and do it...they cut up in a good way.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed it *shrugs* Good show and they were all confident. To me that shows more than the beauty.
As a young Soror who was brought up at the feet of older sorors who have served in many executive positions of Delta I see both views. It is a fine hard line between being the young women we are AND representing Delta in a manner befitting our legacy. In this venue the sorors were simply having fun and trying to win a stroll competition, I'm sure they have the ability to put on their pearls, and suits, be classy and host informative programs as well.
I thought it was pretty good myself. My Mom is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. All it needed was better facial expressions and neatness. Overall I enjoyed it. Nice job ladies Ooop-Phi

I am 26 years in Omega and I don't think there is anything wrong with getting on the stage and entertaining the crowd like my sistas did in ATL. As long as they are getting their scholarship, performing service and maintaining sisterly relations, it's all good. When I was in high school, the bruhs would run a leadership program on Saturday morning and hop in diapers drinking liquor outta baby bottles at night. I thought the Omegas and Que Dogs were different frats.

Im reading a lot of these Judgmental comments and im not even a greek but some of you are making comments and know nothing about the sorority....first of all....I saw nothing wrong with the way these young ladies strolled or dressed I thought personally they did a Great job....the insults can be kept especially from those who dont listen to hip hop/popular music....let them have their time you had yours and im sure you were doing the same things

Some of yall dont know the obvious difference from stolling and dancing. These ladies did not dance alot and their outfits weren't inappropriate. Speaking from a dance stepper and party hopper/stroller POV.... Video vixens do not wear that much clothing. Only thing i can complain about is the obsessive training which is becoming more prevalent sororities let us(alpha) do OUR ish... #savetheTRAINcampaign

If a step video makes you think twice about anything then you weren't serious about it to begin with. It really shows where your heart was to begin with and those type of people need not apply.
IDK what the fuss is about, truely they do not look vulgar at all, I actually found them a little weak and not all well coordinated. If you find that it is not appropriate for your children, its very simple, change the channel...

I don't see anything wrong with there dance moves or the music. Sororities and Frats all around the world use the same music. As far as the dance moves I think it was very creative and it honestly wasn't that provocative

I can see your point but to say that these sisters were acting in one manner to win a stroll off yet can act in another on campus is saying that you're not representing Delta at all times. We all have different facets of our personalities but once you're Greek you represent at all times. If Jane likes to have a few cocktails at a party & acts up no one cares. If Jane was a Zeta the first thing people would report is the Zeta's aren't *bleep*. We don't dictate the legacy dependent on the venue.
I agree, Soror. Maybe I'm just getting old. I love step shows and to see strolls, but this wasn't really that to me. It was a step below dancing in the club. I could tell they worked hard, but more stepping (and clothing) and less dancing would have been nice

They did quite a bit of training, but i think they did more strolling then dancing. Two gunshots at whatever sigmas they got that tribute from. Eeeeh LOL
This was good...I mean it wasn't as good as last yrs but they did a good job without being too sexy. But it was good but last yrs was soo much better

It's a stroll off, not a dance off ladies. Not that it's unsual for them to be in second...I think the show was o.k...better than the zetas and sgrhos
ill timed uncoordinated off point. nice idea but they needed more practice.
The music should have been louder. It could have gotten the crowd more Hyped they were good and turnt up a little but the crowd should have been more hyped.

i agree with you totally on this one. This display is not representative of a LADY nor a DIVA of DST nor any other sorority. DST nor any of the divine nine were founded on the principles of bootyshaking, manly moves, and cheap unclassy behavior. Most of divine nine strive in their missions, I think (whether written or unwritten) to help young women grow in order to become LADIES, with class, grace, and good social taste, all while worrking for the betterment of their communities.....
Um, I don't know if I liked this video: the outfits, the songs with curse words...back in my day, if one saw you DRINKING ALCOHOL with your letters on, they would say something to you about. BEFORE my day, if you were seen doing anything un-Delta-like, your letters would be snatched off you! Crazy I know, but we must remember we as DELTA WOMEN represent the ORGANIZATION as well as OURSELVES. I wouldn't call myself an "old, oldhead" I pledged DST Spring 04, but still this video is different....

Our young Sorors & sister greeks dress like everything opposite of being college trained women. We dress like regular chicks off the street or out of the clubs and we are not that. Glad I learned my place. No congratulations are and no Greek unity, even though this was an interesting show and I thought the Deltas did a good job. Let me sit in my Zeta hoodie and just be angry at the fact that they wear different colors and letters, despite the fact that we have so much in common outside of that.
I really think the Delta's should have won this not the AKA's, but AKA's was more precise with slow music.

No offense but EYE KNOW for a fact that you are NOT a member of DST. Therefore with that said I owe you no sort of explanation for my reason behind saying that MY founders would approve. And when I crossed is not of importance either because whether I crossed 30 years ago or 3 months ago...if I was made the RIGHT way then others that were also feel my sentiments about how my organization is being perceived.
