It is lovely to see your progress on the sweater. I recently bought a Silver Reed LK 150 machine and I have almost finished knitting a Kate Davies sweater with it - I just need to graft the underarms, but I knitted the stocking stitch sections by machine and the ribbing and yoke by hand, as the LK 150 doesn't have a ribber. I kept the waste yarn, or a lifeline in any of the sections where I worried about anything going wrong and it helped me feel less worried about being able to correct my mistakes!
Just remember to become good at something, there is a learning time. It can be hard for a while but if you really want to make something you will stick to it no matter how hard. Take breaks from it, work on something else if it really becomes too hard. No stress.
Aww, thank you so much Laura! I love this sweater design and would love to knit it over again in so many different colour combos :) thanks for watching!
I got into 3d printing just because I got into machine knitting lol. Trying to make replacement parts for and SK150 bed and case. Then I'll move on to tools for the Passap
Do you think the knitting machines were worth the time? I just received one from a relative and I think there's such a huge learning curve and then there's the machine just having issues on top of that did I question whether it's really worth the time to knit sweaters on this.. because it's always going to have problems being an antique. I did just order my earlbacher sock machine I'm looking forward to that.
I honestly do think that machines are worth my time so far. Especially since I have issues with handknitting. It’s true it’s a steep learning curve, but a project that used to take me a few weeks to knit ended up taking 12 minutes to knit on my machine. It makes sense for me, but of course may not appeal to everyone ☺️
Me encanta, Es una terapia. Usted de alienta a seguir tejiendo.
I feel your pain I had an artisan for a first machine. I have struggled and still struggle with the standard
Really interesting to watch you machine knit, thank you!
Thanks for watching Gwen!
So sorry for your machine mishap. Beautiful sweater so far

Love the studio sessions. I found you through MKC. Your yarns are gorgeous and I love seeing them in the Nic’s design. You are so inspiring!

I have a knitting machine and I've had mine for 2 years. I make baby sweaters booties and adult sweaters and I sell them at craft fairs.

Amazing how one thing leads to another! ☺️
That is amazing! I actually broke the piece that holds my yarn mast on the LK150... I should learn to print my own replacement...
I really enjoyed watching you work the machine. Thanks you! But, it just looks super complicated.
Where can I buy a Singer knitting machine?

Btw, you may want to put your twitch link in your details. I had to go hunting for it but I found you now
