    Namaste Ved ji,
Thank you so much for these great class. Your way of teaching is helping me learn Sanskrt in a fun way. I have a quick question: in Laghu Nyasam (Rudram), there is a line Prishte pinaki tishtatu. As prishtatah is indeclinable, why does it appear as prishte in Laghu Nyasam ? It appears to change form. Thanks again

Mythology is wrongly understood in India.
Internet search will give you the following definition:
Mythology is the study of myths, or stories about a culture, religion, person, or group with shared beliefs. The word mythology comes from the Greek words mythos (story-of-the-people) and logos (word or speech). Myths are often about the past and include supernatural characters. Most people don't think mythology is completely true, but they still take it seriously.
While the Epics Ramayana, Mahabharata are Itihaasas (IT happened this way), Puranas could be called Mythology as it is believed that not all of it is true and there has been embellishments.

Talking of traditions, it is fast disappearing at least in big cities like Bangalore
My cousin's children do not know any language other than English!
Not even their mother tongue Tamil.
    Imagine that.
India may be getting materially rich but it is getting culturally and spiritally poor and will pay a heavy price in future.
