10:49 This! It's an absolutely must have feature, it would add so much to the immersion. The fact that no one has made a mod yet that adds this is baffling to me. There was one attempt I think, but the guy never finished it and didn't release the project to the public. So please devs, if you're watching this, make dirt/scratches on the car your next priority
@@kuilno this rally mode is something the dev is actively working on like the career mode and they are taking feedback and I read a devs reply on Reddit and they said they are going to add audio rally notes and other things that make a rally game
Are you telling me that I can click on those greyed out menus and they actually take you somewhere? I've owned this game since version .23 or .24 and I'm just now figuring this out? I thought greyed out menus meant they were placeholders that don't do anything. Thank you so much.
If open world jobs and cruising are your thing, you should defo give the experimental career mod a try. The variety is enough to keep things new for a few hours. This mode singlehandedly pulled me back into BeamNG after several years on hiatus, and I've doubled my modest playing hours. It dripfeeds me all my little dopamine hits for completing jobs. :D Mostly I'm guessing it's to show the career framework in action. The RLS career overhaul mod is one modding team's speculation about how career mode might expand content-wise in future. Their mod's update for .34 will be released soon-ish I think.
Dynamic car dirt/weathering isn't all that difficult, though I don't know if the system is part of the Beam engine currently. All that need be done is create an overlay texture set with increasing activation or sampling zones. I did a royal ton of them for Wreckfest.
On the first attempt of the last rally stage, you probably would've gotten between the 1 minute 57 to 1 minute 58 mark. That would've given you one star. Pretty unfortunate that you crashed though 😕 This new mode sounds fun though! I also hope the BeamNG devs bring dirt/mud or scratches in the future too 👍
@@rctd3260there are hotfixes after the update like currently the second hotfix is out which is the 0.34.2 update the .2 meaning the hotfix and the 0.34 which is the main update
I want to see you play Flexicx. Flexicx is like driveX but has a better crash engine and has friction. They are also gonna bee a update in 24th December bdw. I hope you can make a video trying the game.
@@s1lv3rfir3 Yes for many years even on CryEngine and yes "that's how it looks" when you manually move the camera around while driving. Specifically with a controller. Now what's your point?
that crash like 3 feet before the finish line... i lost it on that one hahahah
if they get voice acting for the rally mode, i hope they put a reference to "samir you are breaking the car!"

true that, hope it gets the traction and fame like the tire wear we also all need
yes we really need dirt and scratches
idk why they didn't fix the backfire animation yet... it's broken for a few years now
Tbf it's not really a big issue if it broke something then maybe it would need it, but for now it's just visual
like since when?
It must be a very low priority. Like light runner, it’s something most players forgot about.
Plus the devs have so much to focus on. I wonder if this really mode gets forgotten about like light runner and the campaign.

Heartbreaking finish on the first jungle stage! Austin Powersed it! 🙂
Anti Lag would be a nice addition now that we got a dedicated rally mode
12:26 *”His day was ruined and his disappointment was immeasurable…”* 😩🤣🤣🤣
Multi-player would be amazing with these maps
this is slowly becoming the best rally sim ever! there is also a recce mode already and a rally editor tool where we can make pacenotes anywhere..
a thousand points for the "Austin Powers" finish!!
heck ya, do this in a sim rig for sure, let's see your skills, sir
why do i think random minds would be a great rally voice actor
lol after watching Hyku set insane times on these, watching neil do it feel so slow
Yep, you need to do this in the sim rig.
awesome wish i had a pc
we need a honda atc parody in the next update ibishu trigeon 200 250 350cc single cylinder and a 500cc i2 engine
Yes, use the wheel setup more often.
Multiplayer with a friend in the passenger seat for nav would be awesome!
i like this more technical videos. it nice to see you can drive ;-)
This is what I wanted to see more of in this game. Super happy.

This was hilarious, can't wait to get a wheel setup myself
Thank you. Was wondering why my game updated today
Today's hot fix wasn't for the rally experimental component. That's been in since .34 was first released.
@ lol I Donno anymore. The updates get confusing for me haha
