I so want the gt4 and hope it becomes road legal but apparently the reliability of this car aside from the engine is not good. if you check the forums you'll know
It's not all about the look, Lotus are terribly manufactured, and you will understand it just after you will own one. I purchased a brand new Evora back in 2014, sold it one year after with around 6k miles over due the continuous problems, water entering everywhere in cabin when it rains, car overheating after being stopped in traffic for few minutes, switches and buttons breaking everytime. An absolute nightmare. It is fun to drive yes, but all these issues will ruin completely the joy to drive it.
@snvffxxx Emira is completely different. Lotus have spent over £100m to upgrade the factory, employed hundreds more staff, quality control has stepped up massively
@@snvffxxx Lotus is now owned by one of the largest Chinese manufacturer called geely. So they had the money the upgrade the factory and improve build quality.
@@snvffxxx I had a completely different experience with my 2014 Evora S. I put 40,000 miles on it. I drove it to track days, ran it all day and then drove it home. The only issue I have had with the car was a window regulator, that was fixed under warranty. I had an Exige before that with literally zero problems. And I now own an Emira. So far so good. The build quality is very clearly way better on the Emira. Just 5 minutes looking and touching the car and it's clearly a huge step above an Evora.
Reminds me of the 2.8 V6 quad exhaust Fiero GT back in the day. The Pontiac engineers did a fabulous job with the exhaust burble on that otherwise pedestrian engine.
@@craigthescott5074drove both C8 least fun handling car in the market in it's segment, Emira far better..... C8 have over 60% of weight distribution like 911 and Emira but difference is these 2 have short wheel base makes it fun to move around while C8 one of longest I have seen in any sports car lol..... Also Emira and 911/Cayman have Manual options + brakes in those much better infact as C8 is heavier than all of those also
For the money, you really can’t beat the look of this. Hats off to lotus once again for making something special.

The combo of intake whoosh, supercharger whine, and that throaty exhaust is just heavenly

Lotus Evora
@@fb1000000 i want more of them.
oh good! another tiny car like Miata.
For the money the C8 Corvette is more performance for less money. And try finding a lotus dealership to service it.
And yet, I''d still take the Lotus any day. The only thing the C8 is better at is straight line speed.
@@jpve76 nope it out handles and and out brakes it too. No comparison when it comes to performance especially the C8 Z06.
@@craigthescott5074 and when it comes to design...forget the C8...

Yeah, exotic looks and 0-60 in 6seconds! (that's the real number). Smoked by a golf GTI !!! LOL
It's 4 something ain't it?
Love how you are just flat wrong...
The real number? Like when being driven by someone who can’t drive? 🙄
Bet you cant change gears and have pimples
4.2 with some mods I bet it can get 3.3
SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!
