I think the correct way to choose a team is to listen to the entire Splatoon OST and make your decision based in your favorite songs. I love the piano in Broken Coral so i go for Keyboard.
It can be either team drums or team guitar might win. The drums cannot use fingers to play, while the guitar and keyboard have their tone. The thing is I'm not into drums, I would prefer either guitar or keyboard, my younger sister has a keyboard, and I only did it on my phone just a bit.
Ahem: literally every videogame OST from the NES era. No drums, all MIDI, which is based on a keyboard. Heck, most indie music these days is made using a program like FL studio, which is, again, MIDI based, ergo keyboard based.

First off it's not "Which is the best instrument" it's "Which instrument would you play", secondly the whole point of Splatfests is picking your preference and that it shouldn't matter who wins or loses, but for Splatoon 3 the Splatfests do feel broken. Also I was clapping for country music because I love country music, thank you. And while these are, interesting arguments these are YOUR opinions and anyone has the freedom to agree or disagree. But I'm gonna pick Team Guitar and reason why is because whenever I jam out to music the first instrument to pop in my head is to "air" play the guitar, and it's a lot of fun to rock out to and once again this is MY personal opinion and you can agree to disagree with me if you want. Also another important thing about Splatfests is to have fun, and that's THE most important thing out of all the reasons. X3 lol
