Disagree. Ari made the right choice, שֶׁלֹא אֶחָד בִּלְבָד עָמַד עָלֵיֽנוּ לְכַלּוֹתֵנֽוּ is happening right now, no reason to add a historical footnote. Adding bchol dor vador would be superfluous, intellectual, and less impactful than focusing on the here and now.
