Im definitely TEAM OLD SCHOOL!!!! They set the atmosphere for praise and worship to the Lord Almighty, and it just makes and creates a spirit of unity in the House of Worship!!!

@@marybowers6989 it is indeed not uncommon for us more “seasoned” saints to have a more calm and focussed worship. This does not take away from the zeal and liveliness of the younger saints. We were all there at one point, if we grew up in church or got saved at a young age. Youth is the time to really give your all physically as you grow in Grace and Knowledge. We have some amazing young people in the Church here in the Greater Toronto Area, and we continue to pray that God will keep them and they’ll grow from strength to strength

I wish I could’ve been there!!! This is NICE!! Both old and new. But as a man in my 40s, I’m very partial to old😂. Both groups held their own tho. I do feel like we need to get back to robes tho. Too much form-fitting in the pulpit.

Robes allow the focus to be on Jesus. They cover any distraction - gaudy outfits, color, length, or tightness of outfit, busy patterns,and bouncing body parts 😊
Why is the second choir considered new school? The Baptist church I grew up in had multiple choirs and always marched in, so there was nothing new about that to me. Even the selection form isn't new as far as I see.

I think robes are a great idea because women and men are too casual with their attire and dress inappropriately in church. The people were singing beautifully at the first clip but the clothes were either too tight or too short. It isn't godly.

@@kattmilk No, long dresses/skirts are not a requirement. Modest dressing is encouraged. Some assemblies are more “liberal” than others. Dress modestly and how you feel comfortable is my take
I like the march in … but they all off. It should be two at a time down the center aisle. The march-in processional music should be something along the lines of “We have come this far by faith,” and the congregation should hear you singing as you pass - no fakers - either you can sing or hand in the robe. No shade. All singers need to be in tune and in full voice - making a joyful noise. Amen?

This concert was 4 hours long so the time the choir took to march in, relative to the length of the concert, was negligible. I was coming at it from the point of view of “new school” being young people under 30 (these young people in the choir wearing black and white are mostly teenage to early 20’s) vs. “old school” being the older saints who’ve been around for awhile (those in the choir wearing robes are mostly in their 40’s and 50’s).
