Meanwhile in America it’s like “dads needs to set up and take care of their children” and get ridiculed for a number of reasons including when they try and provide for their children and the mothers stop them.
More like "men" need to step up and take care of "our community's" children. As in the men who never got to have kids of our own are now expected to pay for another man's kids.

in the UK and US, its looked down and frowned upon by most mothers really for a dad to not be the one looking after the children daily and to make the money instead. i personally think its harsh to specify it to one gender. theres things that a man can do to look after a child its just that we tend to not get the opportunity to and theres things woman can do with a child but have more experience at doing than men because of this whole gender specific roles. there will be things that men can do that woman cant and what woman can do that men cant its just a given, but it shouldnt outright prevent fathers and or mothers to nurture a child and people need to start learning how to do things in all types of fields to make it easier. the more knowledgeable and the more the parents grow, the easier it is for raising a child. education and knowledge is key after all u just got to be able to push your self to able to be sufficiant in as many fields as possible.

The birth rate there is abysmal, even compared to our issues related to it. Nobita (The Japan Reporter) released a two-part series covering the ACTUAL reasons for the declining birth rate there from multiple perspectives. And what he found was contradictory to these TikTok complainers: Feeling not financially stable enough to have a child and corporate Japan culture, combined with more of a push with women having more of a focus there.
This is agreeable, even if I don't always agree with Nobita. The corporate work culture in Japan basically forces workers to waste a lot of extra time better spent in actual personal time for the person. And since the pay isn't very accommodating to raising a family with just one working parent, a lot of the populace of the marrying age don't find the prospects of raising a family that appealing. Also, since western-style progressivism is also being pushed there, with women becoming subjected to the whole "career woman" imagery, women also slowly lose interest in starting a family. It's a butterfly-effect of multiple factors.
Japan's work culture is also nightmarish as you're expected to spend even your time off-hours thinking and interacting with your job. Many examples being pressured to go out drinking with your coworkers/bosses, socially scorned for getting sick or needing a vacation cause then you're "letting down the team", expected to work overtime without being paid, etc. You're practically expected to sell your soul to the company you work for. Japan's Shoguns never left, they just evolved into work bosses.

Ironically, the actual leaflet seems pretty progressive to me. It surveyed what each gender wanted their partners to do more, what they didn't like and it gave solid advice to both parties. The "misogynistic" part is the same as what the women said in the "didnt like" section about what their husbands did, yet no coverage of that, of course. Japan's falling birthrate has nothing to do with misogyny. In fact, its a little bit of the opposite as many Japanese women have extremely high standards for their man, especially financially, so men work like slaves to attain that financial status and end up with no time to actually pursue any meaningful relationships. Couple that with the extremely accessible sex industry Japan has and increasing cost of living and you have a formula for men and women to just not see the need to pursue starting families. The issue is far deeper than "men bad" and everyone needs to take accountability for the problem and solve it together.
Ah, so our ol' pal feminism strikes again, aye? But you gotta imagine there's some fault from the societal norms for men and women to have those high standards. They've probably fallen into the same rabbit hole the west has, in which we expect to meet someone attractive who has everything we've ever wanted.
@@tozu777 Nothing to do feminism. The ideal Japanese wife is still the the stay-at-home wife who cooks, cleans, cares for the kids etc. It's why the men work themselves to death to attain the financial stability that would allow for one income household to exist in a city as expensive to live in as Tokyo. They end up with no time to actually socialize. The women looking for these men can't find them and worse, they need to work too so they don't have time to socialize either. So what happens when no one has enough time but lots of money? They spend it on quick and easy entertainment. The men can go to a soapland anytime they want and for an hour or two at around 20k yen per hour (around 130USD), they get to have fun with a beautiful girl. The women can go blow off steam with hot guys who would drink with them and shower them with compliments at a host bar anytime they want. Both sexes can just pay someone to go on a date with them too. Interpersonal relationships that require months and years to build becomes an unnecessary chore when you can just pay for fleeting ones as easily as opening an app on your phone. The west is only now having this problem with OnlyFans except worse cause at the very least, Japan's sex workers don't go around trying to convince people that it's somehow empowering to be one. The problem is way deeper than misogyny OR misandry.
@@hiddendrifts Their work culture is definitely the biggest problem. Asian societies are generally known for putting too much emphasis on working and making money but Japan takes all of that to absurdity. Working overtime as a show of dedication to the company, for example, is rampant and taking your legally paid days of leave is just not a thing cause its viewed as inconveniencing others. The younger generation are getting the sense that their work culture is insane but the older generation expects the above out of them so it’s hard to break out of that right now. Some of them also end up just not working cause they’re done with or don’t want to deal with the work culture. The issue is so ingrained in Japanese culture that it’s going to be really hard for them to break free of it.
The part they won't mention: Japan's draconic working culture has those same men slaving away for 14+ hours a day. The LEAST the wife can do is those menial tasks.
The one that doesn't live in Japan: Everyone can or should choose what they want to be and do, if those wives want to do other things they perfectly can or also work both and take turns, a thing that also happens in Japan like in many other places, no work of these is less than the other and you clearly haven't really worked cleaning houses to know how hard it is, it's not meanial tasks, and my mother has really worked as a slave in more ways than one doing everything, you apparently and obviously haven't, and there are also many women working outside their homes in Japan, and one way or another it's hard for everyone there, not just men or women, but it's funny to make some people look less than others or turn everything into an absurd gender fight, right?

Why is Japan singled out in issues like sexism and birth rates, when there are plenty of countries with the same issues, and in a greater scale? Are they winning the culture war, perhaps? Or some deeply ingrained racism towards Japanese people? Who knows. The fact is that there is alot of misguided hate towards Japan, and I find it strange.
simple: they hate men being happy, anime & weebism is on the rise right now and is especially popular among teenage boy & even adult men, and the portrait of the female gender in anime is the idealistic version of a GF material. "kind, virtuous, feminine and beauty" are considered "sexist" by Western wokism, hence why they're all after Japan because of this. It's funny the wokes voiced little opinion against China when the demand for women there is even higher than of Japan
Probably because there's no inflated amount of women in the workforce due to anti-man discriminatory practices. There's genuine equality of opportunity in Japan. There's also the fact that people will always call other countries misogynistic. Westerners call all non-westerners misogynistic, Easterners call westerners misogynistic. Muslims call christians misogynists, christians call muslims misogynists. It's all just a game to see who can be the most pro-woman as possible.
Probably because it's the easiest target currently, nobody would care if this was some random impoverished country in Africa that the West had probably exploited their natural resources a dozens of time, but since this is Japan, a big country with huge economy and influence, then people will care when they say things like this. And also, of course, another thing is that since Japan is very influential nowadays due to their cultural reaches, the West (as usual) feels threatened which led them to do things like this in the hopes that people will see Japan in a negative light and go back to adoring the Western stuff again. It's the same thing with what they're doing to China, and even to some extent to South Korea. Anyone who challenges the West in literally anything, be it friend or foe, would get these treatments. And for what exactly? Well, to protect the fractured and pathetic ego of the western peoples so they can keep believing that they truly are superior than others.
I like how women keep going on about misogyny but you never ever hear of misandry. I find it strange how people try to demonize one another but make it blatantly clear by making it seem like their side is incapable of the same thing.
Its precisely the reason why they are after Japan: they hate men being happy, anime & weebism is on the rise right now and is especially popular among teenage boy & even adult men, and the portrait of the female gender in anime is the idealistic version of a GF material. Western women considers "kind, virtuous, feminine and beauty" are "sexist trait", hence the pushback against Japan
I can only say two thing... Westerners should shut up about issues that don't concern them in countries were they don't live in. Second... It is just me or is it weird that the same Japanese government needs to tell their citizen how to behave to be proper humane-like husbands and wives? Like... Seriously... All in those fleets were literally actual concern for proper behavior as a dad or a mom and or as a couple. It had nothing to do with misogynic or misandry... It was literally a fleet telling people how to be humane.
Being able to express basic decency and humanity. How icky and vile and MySoGyNiStIc is that? This sort of makes me theorize that they are slamming this likely because they themselves are indecent and inhumane people.
Asking someone to act fake is weird but, real talk, it's part and parcel with Japanese culture. The bare minimum fertility rate to sustain a population is an average of 2.1 births per woman. Japan is at 1.3. The whole world is looming on a demographic crisis but many nations are obfuscating their numbers by padding them with immigration and Japan is basically a canary in a coal mine (also because their culture REALLY takes a lot of the socioeconomic factors relating to the demographic crisis to an extreme).
The declining birth rate thing is a normal proccess to every developing nation. The greatest factor that determines it is urbanization, as it makes living costs higher. Also the fact that there is less space in cities, and having a ton of children won't help you in your work like it might in a farm.
Also, extended working hours. Definitely not unique to Japan, but particularly pronounced over there. Even if the women are staying home, they can't really get pregnant if the husband is never home. And relationships with workaholics tend to be pretty sexless. Also, overly intense work and academic culture can result in a lot of socially stunted youth who never gets married in the first place.
This has to be mentioned. But the Soviets went through something similar and their population stabilised after. This is the effect of post industrial revolution. Before it, Japan had around 38 million people, when they entered this period, their populations skyrocketed. Now sinse they are reaching the post era, their population is naturally going back to what it was. THIS IS A GOOD THING. Only dumb westerners would think otherwise... I am also glad people there are getting rid of feminism too.
The point of making the lunch isn't the inability to make a lunch, but to have the connection to your loved one when you are stuck at work hating your life.
Both people in a relationship should do that sometimes depending on the situation, and it's not even a forced thing (unless it actually is of course, but I'm talking about healthy relationships where there is respect and love), it's out of love, let's say that your husband or wife is tired one day or sick or has any kind of problem or even that one day they just don't feel like cooking, a relationship is a thing of two, both must put on the work and show love, appreciation, understanding and worry, show that they care and worry, and that if one person can't really take care of themselves at that moment the other does it as the couple and team that they are, that is true love, it's not a fight of who is better or worse, who does more or less, it's a partnership and both work as a team and really care about the other and try to help and take care of the other if the other needs it, there would be selfless acts born out of love, there wouldn't be any fight of that kind which are stupid nor one that is superior or inferior to the other or that does more or less than the other, they wouldn't care about any of that, they would both be equals and consider each other as such, that is love
I wonder why is social media so obsessed with Japan's social problems these days? I'm always seeing posts on RUclips, Twitter, and other social media saying like "Japan sucks!" "It's over for Japan." While I do agree, this thinking is kind of dangerous, otherwise, people wouldn't be able to call others out. Imagine you saw someone molesting a child and they say that you can't judge them because they're part of a new group that showed up, etc. You don't need to be part of something to dislike it, just show decent understanding and knowledge of the matter, something the lady clearly doesn't have.

Of course, she left out other important parts and blew things out of proportion. Same old, same old… Also, about the wife making lunch things, it’s just their culture and way of life. Most males are super busy with their office jobs that they wouldn’t have time to cook, so it really helps to have lunch made ready for them. This also help saves money on eating out and most housewives in Japan takes great care in making healthy lunches rather for the husband to pig out on greasy ramen or junk food. Besides, it shows that the husbands and wives have good relationship, too, if the wives care enough to cook for him.
Telling your husband what you want them to do in clear and concrete terms isn't a bad advice. The more i hear about this people preach about their "modernity" they always look and sounds so miserable it almost like they never really had a happy childhood or even a happy stable relationship no matter how old they are, so it sounds more and more like they don't understand what a happy relationship looks like or even is

2:39 From my perspective, it's not all bad. But most of it is bad, yeah. It's like, why tf should the wives avoid doing things to annoy there husbands. As a man, I believe, when you marry someone, you've to make sure that this person is happy with you. Either bcz you chose them or simply you chose them after they were recommended as potential marriage partners. So, when you're strong enough to make them happy, obviously they will repay the favor themselves by making you Happy. It's literally basic human negotiation system. Somebody is trying to make them happy. If you love them, obviously you will try to make them happy too. There will still be days when you will feel like shit, and you will let the anger take control of you. But even after those arguments, the marriage won't break suddenly. That's why, I think, it's just dumb for women to actually carry some sort of rules and etiquette just to make their man happy. However that doesn't mean they should become scums who never even speak love to their SO. Anyways, japan's tradition is quite literally shown in anime. And easily most of it, is not some sort of mysoginistic propoganda. It just promotes strong men who take care of their sweet and feminine woman.
To me it seems that the makers of that leaflet wanted to help by pointing out the most common small things that can improve the relationship between new moms and dads, who might not talk about what they would want from each other. As weird as it may sound, people often don't talk about their problems openly until it's too late to fix whatever is wrong.
I understand from Westener point of view "Making lunch for your husband everyday" seems "Misogyny" (Tho i don't know why you all think like that). But it's not that deep, Usually if you are the partner stay at home to take care of the kids, You are the one prepare the meal for everyone, including yourself. So it's literally just make 1 more serving at that point. Plus by doing that you also show love to your partner. But for some reason Westener make a big deal about this.
I've been called crazy for noticing an increasingly anti Japanese sentiment in the west, this may be confirmation bias but this shit is so frequent now.
You're not wrong. Many people hate Japan because it calls them out exposing their fake house of cards. All an act. Look at how CNN was called out for diddling kids after accusing Japan of it, and how Vice News attacked doujinshi and Anime industry, yet exposed their corrupted side of things. If you can't have it, sabotage it.
I was just about to comment this before it got to the part in the video that said exactly this (honestly there’s nothing misogynistic about reminding both partners to be mindful about showing thanks and love to their partner when nurturing a newborn because of how stressful it can be that early on): Honestly they should’ve just had a section for husbands reminding them to be kind to their wife and remember to thank them and do little acts of kindness for them or take over their chores while they are taking care of the child or recovering since this is a hard time for both parents. Those were my thoughts on it before I knew that the flyer in Japan was already telling husbands ways they could be loving and helpful to their wives too. As with all things both men and women are valuable and to foster a healthy relationship you need to show each other love and appreciation. There’s nothing wrong with reminding parents of this in a time that can be so stressful for them. Heck even young adults with no children and who are just dating could stand to be given some ways they can show their love and appreciation for their girlfriend or boyfriend. TikTok is dumb or willfully ignorant because they want to be angry about something. Maybe, I’m really misunderstanding this story but the idea of this entire survey kinda seems sweet.
As far as i know all well to do countries have low birth rate issues. In japan specifically it is apparently due to an aging population voting for more and more benifits at the expense of the younger people. So like higher retirement benifits and more money but that raises the burden on young people preventing them from having the funds to even think about investing in a family.
Anyone women outside of Japan telling Japanese Women to put the man in charge of baby and the women are to do nothing has no right to tell other culture women what to do. Women are made to create babies, take care of them, keep the child out of danger and of course take care of the house meanwhile the fathers are to work long hours and take care of finances and such. Thats will and always be the given roles for those two..as for cooking it really doesnt matter who does the cooking if the women is always home then she can take care of the cooking but if on a Saturday and the father has a day off he can cook. Thats the point of being a unit or a married team it's give and take. You can't do it then you have no right to tell other women what to do
She got me at 'smile'. Obvious misogynists, they think a woman should ever 'smile'. Disgusting. To anyone who doesn't fully understand - a major factor in your daily life in a relationship is the general attitude you are giving away to your partner. Both men and women. If you smile, speak clearly and in a pleasant tone - it invites same from your partner. Even if you are feeling worse or down - it's alright to state your feelings, but it's damaging to the relationship to project outward with a sad, tired or annoyed face expression as it puts pressure on the other person, who themselves may have their own issues. If you smile despite feeling worse and you are comfortable around your partner who also smiles back - you will feel more comfortable talking about your issues and negotiate actions both of you can take to fix them.
The leaflet was: 1 taken out of context 2 the part where they tell the dads what to do was completely ignored And 3 there was basically no problem to begin with since it tells moms and dads to be nice to eachother and work together to raise the baby. Nice to see that the internet is still a shitshow.
More like outdated gender norms in Big Cities all across America. lol Since they are trying to get rid of *strong* men because they deserve some outward hatred for being a man. When BOTH sides got oppressed, throughout history. Including in Japan if you weren't a Samurai, the Samurai was allowed to kill the ungrateful bastard that called them out for shit. lol
I'm assuming it's just a pamphlet with various suggestions how to decrease tensions and help couples get along. Like general advice based on surveys. Doesn't mean all or like that. It's also translated. So husbands may just want them to focus a little more on them too as a new baby tends to create hyper focus in new parents.
I hate how a minority of pretentious crybabies in the US somehow makes the rest of us seem like assholes. I’d guess the majority of us from all backgrounds have a positive and respecting outlook on Japan.
So it's an ill put together leaflet with some good advice and some bad that was gained through indirect means? Also I love the blind assertion about "outdated gender roles" being the problem with falling birth rates, as if there was a software update to gender roles when they last updated the matrix or something. As if the gender roles that have been around for millenia are to blame and not things like price of living getting out of hand that forces men and women to work their fingers to the bone to afford anything let alone another mouth to feed.
I’m very late to this video, but the declining birth rate thing, Japan has more of an issue with this than most countries to my knowledge. While the US and China may also have a declining birth rate, it’s more or less a good thing for them, China has an over abundance of people and started implementing a limit on the amount of children families could have (Im not sure if this limit is still in place or not however) and for the US we have sufficient people already to keep populations stable, along with the fact that we are probably the most immigrated to country in the world. Japan has neither a large population, nor large immigration numbers, that is the reason why they are so focused on the declining birth rate
again? seriously?
Yeah these things happen
So I'm not hallucinating

Meanwhile in America it’s like “dads needs to set up and take care of their children” and get ridiculed for a number of reasons including when they try and provide for their children and the mothers stop them.

So they can try and change another countries cultures and traditions as if they are the world arbitors of what shuld and shuld not be accepted. Sounds like the left is a group of entitled rich white people trying to shift focus off themselves.
in the UK and US, its looked down and frowned upon by most mothers really for a dad to not be the one looking after the children daily and to make the money instead. i personally think its harsh to specify it to one gender. theres things that a man can do to look after a child its just that we tend to not get the opportunity to and theres things woman can do with a child but have more experience at doing than men because of this whole gender specific roles. there will be things that men can do that woman cant and what woman can do that men cant its just a given, but it shouldnt outright prevent fathers and or mothers to nurture a child and people need to start learning how to do things in all types of fields to make it easier. the more knowledgeable and the more the parents grow, the easier it is for raising a child. education and knowledge is key after all u just got to be able to push your self to able to be sufficiant in as many fields as possible.

The first one is almost universal nowadays
@@simonebernacchia5724Yeah, not that it should matter as much, but it really does for the majority of people who aren't wealthy and promiscuous.

Just a clarification, the wife or girlfriend making lunch for their husband or boyfriend is a cultural thing.
Women will also do it for guy's they like or have an interest in dating.
Women hate taking accountability for anything, so that's gonna be a tough sell
The problem is way deeper than misogyny OR misandry.

what i'm hearing is japan needs some form of universal basic income, and to change their work culture, badly
The part they won't mention: Japan's draconic working culture has those same men slaving away for 14+ hours a day. The LEAST the wife can do is those menial tasks.
The one that doesn't live in Japan:
Everyone can or should choose what they want to be and do, if those wives want to do other things they perfectly can or also work both and take turns, a thing that also happens in Japan like in many other places, no work of these is less than the other and you clearly haven't really worked cleaning houses to know how hard it is, it's not meanial tasks, and my mother has really worked as a slave in more ways than one doing everything, you apparently and obviously haven't, and there are also many women working outside their homes in Japan, and one way or another it's hard for everyone there, not just men or women, but it's funny to make some people look less than others or turn everything into an absurd gender fight, right?
The wives still don't equal the husband's workload with what they are doing.

Is more easy point fingers at others than look in mirror kinda sad this how this keeps going on for this past years
simple: they hate men being happy, anime & weebism is on the rise right now and is especially popular among teenage boy & even adult men, and the portrait of the female gender in anime is the idealistic version of a GF material.
Because misandry is basically *_encouraged_* right now, in spite of the pushback it's starting to get.
Its precisely the reason why they are after Japan: they hate men being happy, anime & weebism is on the rise right now and is especially popular among teenage boy & even adult men, and the portrait of the female gender in anime is the idealistic version of a GF material.

Japan's aversion to foreigner also count. Also, European countries and England immigration is so effective, the "natives" number kinda declining.
People that regurgitate that damn word, are sheep.

I'm always seeing posts on RUclips, Twitter, and other social media saying like "Japan sucks!" "It's over for Japan." For example, Italy and Spain have lower birth rates than Japan, but I have never seen a post on social media mentioning the birth rates in these countries.
simple: they hate men being happy, anime & weebism is on the rise right now and is especially popular among teenage boy & even adult men, and the portrait of the female gender in anime is the idealistic version of a GF material. "kind, virtuous, feminine and beauty" are considered "sexist" by Western wokism, hence why they're all after Japan because of this.
What gives her the right to speak about a culture she is not a member of,who does she think she is?
While I do agree, this thinking is kind of dangerous, otherwise, people wouldn't be able to call others out.
Imagine you saw someone molesting a child and they say that you can't judge them because they're part of a new group that showed up, etc.
You don't need to be part of something to dislike it, just show decent understanding and knowledge of the matter, something the lady clearly doesn't have.
I swear its these same types of people who complain about cultral appropriation.
@@shikikankillzone4239 Laws are based on borders. If they're within my country, they have to follow my country's laws. I don't care what "group" they are a part of. If they don't like the laws they can leave and go to a different country.
@@shikikankillzone4239 did you just use pedos as a way to say that you are allowed to harass another country your clearly a democrat
Ah yes, you cannot critique this social movement because you are not actively apart of it. You cannot dislike a movie because you weren't apart of the production. You cannot condemn laws in another country because you don't live there. We can go on and on.
Japan being taken out of context? AGAIN?!?
YOU DONT SAY!
Of course, she left out other important parts and blew things out of proportion. Same old, same old…
Also, about the wife making lunch things, it’s just their culture and way of life.
It's essentially the "What do you want?" question and it's telling new mothers to give clear answers because the husbands are juggling you, the baby and their job. I believe it's the very least you could during this period.
Remember most lies are told through half truthes and not telling the full story
These people are straight up disingenuous they truly truly are
"Yes but you're misandrist so why would i believe your take on anything?" My response since the only people who screech misogyny always are..
Its really manipulative how they frame real life issues. It's why my tolerance for this crap is sooo loow.
The moment she used the word "mysoginistic" it made me dismiss.all of her arguments entirely. That word has lost all meaning thank to people like her.
I recommend not using words like that and MAYBE I'll take you seriously.
If I had a nickel for every time a western feminist called Japan misogynistic, I could retire for the rest of my life
Imagine thinking that the needs of husbands are "mysoginistic"... And people in Japan wonder they their marriage and birthrates are the lowest on the planet. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know it's not like their forcing them to meet their demands and on top of that it just sounds more like a friendly advice than anything sure the guy should probably do their part, but at the end of day if you love the person your with sometimes you have to sacrifice a little bit of your time and happiness for your love one to be a little more happier, but just be considered and care for each other.
The more i hear about this people preach about their "modernity" they always look and sounds so miserable it almost like they never really had a happy childhood or even a happy stable relationship no matter how old they are, so it sounds more and more like they don't understand what a happy relationship looks like or even is
Ironic given that feminism is a major part of what got Japan into its current state of decline.
The want to have the sex without the responsibility (?)
So their terrible work culture and their ridiculous system of social hierarchies are a result of feminism?
Err...Japanese womam dont adopt the feminism so very hard like in the ocident tho.
And the declining birth rate is hapening in almost every nation in the world, the thing is most nation hides and compesates this problem with imigration (Japan dont tho)
PS: Sorry my english
@@jorgemurilo6456 africa, asia, two continents with the most population don't, so not really most

I find the west's obsession with Japan to be fucking weird and creepy at the same time.
Upon thinking about it, maybe being racist, sexist and transphobic are good things, actually.
Your wrong being nice is good what is wrong being like spider man and help people
To me it seems that the makers of that leaflet wanted to help by pointing out the most common small things that can improve the relationship between new moms and dads, who might not talk about what they would want from each other. As weird as it may sound, people often don't talk about their problems openly until it's too late to fix whatever is wrong.
And that is why Japan made its own twitter...
Americans should just let other countries be.
Everything is blamed on Japan nowadays and I'm starting to get sick of it.
Vice News got an Emmy for their hit piece on Anime and Manga.
It's time to revert to last save.
Imagine country that actuali want population growth not just a boated social system for single mothers ffs......
As far as i know all well to do countries have low birth rate issues. In japan specifically it is apparently due to an aging population voting for more and more benifits at the expense of the younger people. So like higher retirement benifits and more money but that raises the burden on young people preventing them from having the funds to even think about investing in a family.
The 4 News blonde looked so much like Lindsey Reckis, I was expecting to watch a satire.
Must be really easy picking on Japan, I'd dare them to pick on the middle east.
You can't do it then you have no right to tell other women what to do
makes sense the tiktokkers didnt do research but preffered to bash men and other cultures
What's this? American outrage based on purposefully incomplete information? I AM SHOCKED.
This is ridiculous 🤦🏿♂️
Seeing how modern women tend to single and miserable on the inside, they shouldn't be telling other women how they should live
Twitter Users when people have different ideals and cultures
The leaflet was:
1 taken out of context
2 the part where they tell the dads what to do was completely ignored
And 3 there was basically no problem to begin with since it tells moms and dads to be nice to eachother and work together to raise the baby.
Nice to see that the internet is still a shitshow.
"These leaflets are showing the outdated gender norms in Japan" LMAO
More like outdated gender norms in Big Cities all across America. lol
Since they are trying to get rid of *strong* men because they deserve some outward hatred for being a man. When BOTH sides got oppressed, throughout history. Including in Japan if you weren't a Samurai, the Samurai was allowed to kill the ungrateful bastard that called them out for shit. lol
If traditional femininity is "out of date" then modern feminism is "out of touch from reality".
it should be illegal to leave out crucial information to pit people against each other
Well the current decline rate can be explained by one word: humanity
I'm assuming it's just a pamphlet with various suggestions how to decrease tensions and help couples get along. Like general advice based on surveys. Doesn't mean all or like that. It's also translated. So husbands may just want them to focus a little more on them too as a new baby tends to create hyper focus in new parents.
It's weird how misogny over thousand years have resulted in declining birth rate over the past 40 years.
why are they in Japan in the first place WTF
I hate how a minority of pretentious crybabies in the US somehow makes the rest of us seem like assholes. I’d guess the majority of us from all backgrounds have a positive and respecting outlook on Japan.
I really hope she gets handed one when natality rates in the U.S. plummel down to the ground caused by low rates or marriage
I wished people would just leave other countries alone, especially if they don't know what life is actually like there.
