Now this is in the top of my drama list..The theme for the Drama is Amazing.. I missed my dad so much.. I love their Characters so much and the actors and actresses are so good.. Wow...it feels like I’ve been through everything with the Cha family and friends. So many ups and downs, mainly downs, but the up moments were even more precious because of that. Thank you for creating such a wonderful drama and sharing the lives of those lovely characters. Dalbong especially shined in this episode and I’m more than happy that he got his moment...I’m not gonna spoil anything now...I love the Cha siblings so much. Dalbong, the lovable baby maknae who’s just like his father, the most relatable character to us young folk, and my favorite character; Gangjae, the cold professional with a warm heart of gold, and Gangshim, our elegant and beautiful heroine who is the backbone of the family. This finale was perfect, meaningful, and crafted with such heartfelt care. Thank you again.
how can the main vocal of an idol group act tone-deaf so well lmfaoooo. dambi saying she can't sing or dance made me cry in laughter as well HAHAHA
regardless, this was a really solid conclusion to a really solid drama. definitely the best weekend drama i've seen, thank you kbs for all the laughs and tears and most importantly, the lessons.

They must have something in their contracts about singing. You should hear Yoochun "sing" in Missing You. Even when he was on Real Men and participated in entertainment shows he only sang a child's song in a bumble costume with Sam Hammington. He never showed his idol side on that show.
Watched this in 2019 and this series really hits you right in the feels. Thanks to this series I now know that I need to be a better son to my parents. The cast is incredible and did a fantastic job.
Sunbong Abeoji's illness was a great blessing to the family. His illness brought his family together. Despite the short time he had, he died very happy :) I've been watching a lot of dramas for as long as I can remember but I've never cried and laughed this much. The script was so real and very well written and the actors were all great! I'll surely watch this again in the future.
Came back here after more than 2 years but I still cried as much as when I first watched this. A lot of amazing family dramas came on but this drama still tops my list. I miss you abeoji :')

I finally finished this drama. It didn't took me awhile because the story is really good that I keep watching it. But I tried to slow down towards the end because the feels are too much and I don't want it to end so soon. I loved every bit of this drama. Though at the start, what keeps me watching is Dalbong and Seoul, but I really liked every character. We can learn something from each of them. And they're all really great actors. I would probably rewatch this next time, especially my favourite scenes. Like most of the viewers, this drama had made such a positive impact to me.
The singing contest had me laughing so hard. But when it was the father's turn, my tears just couldn't stop.

I can never forget this family & the joy they brought into my life. So many nights filled with tears and joy with this lovely bunch. Each member compliments the other, Dalbong & his boyish mannerisms, Gangshima & her motherly self, Gangjae & his monotony (although he has come a long way) Seoul her usual bubbly self, The father who watches over them constantly. Their love and compassion towards one another always leaves me in awe. How far they have come as a family together shows that each and every one of us can grow even in the hardest circumstances. I can remember the scene of Gangjae falling to his knees begging his father for forgiveness crying his heart out in a back alley. He showed his true willingness in helping his parent then, it's never too late everyone! We give Gangjae a hard time, but look at how caring he became & through that persevered. There is always room for a little love, kindness, patience and empathy. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your family. Love always xoxo

A big shout out to all the actors, actresses (they really did a great job with their roles especially Gangshim, Gangae, Mr. Cha, Taegu and in fact everyone), crew and most importantly the director and writer of this drama. I have watched a lot of Korean dramas but none can be compared to this. There is also a great lesson learnt from this drama and that is to appreciate our parents.

One of the best dramas ever! The storyline, the ending, characters, the ending... Everything was perfect. I watched the last episode yesterday and cried so hard. It just effected me so much that it appeared in my dream! I also realized how precious our families are. I hope people also realize it and treat their families well when they are by their side and healthy. It was just amazing.

I can't believe this drama has come to an end. Obviously this is the most beautiful and well written drama ever produced by KBS. Please keep this kind of dramas coming! so many life lessons learnt. AND DOES ANYONE TOO REALIZE THIS IS SO FAR THE ONLY DRAMA THAT DIDNT HAVE ANY VILLAIN CHARACTERS. so realistic and far more relate able than other dramas. I'm so happy that the writers maintained and grew the friendship between Eunho and Dalbong (and Soeul) instead of Eunho just disappearing to obscurity after the love triangle was finally resolved. It was so nice getting to see the banter between Eunho and Dalbong during the phone call about the engagement ring. One of many feel good moments in this episode (and many more over the course of the whole drama)~~
The best weekend family drama ever. I've never seen and enjoyed a drama that is 50+ eps like I enjoyed this one. It was great from the very first episode to the last. Good

This is by far one of the best korean drama I've ever watched. Unlike those modern day deception, adultery, coveting, this drama shows the importance of family and the importance of treasuring and appreciating family. The tradegy and comedy make it an even more appealing drama. Also, the actors and actresses are good. Dalbong's proposal was hilarious and he and Seoul are so adorable, it is also nice to see that Kangjae loves Hyojin now and that it worked out for them. It is also nice to see Kangshim really happy. What a nice ending for a good drama!
P.S Kangjae's Catallena performance and Seoul's horse! ride! song got me bursting out from the sadness to laughter HAHAHA

What a great end to a great drama. The only conplain I have is that we didn't get to see any Ms. Ko at the end. I would have loved to see they were still close to her, their father loved her a lot and she loved their father, that should be enough reason to keep her around. OMG..No words😱😱😱 This is the BESTEST and MOST MEANINGFUL drama i've ever seen in my life..😍😍😍This isn't simply a drama, it's a great lesson and guide for lifetime..What a realistic and brilliant portrayal of characters and life. Each and every character in this drama has it's own charishma . In real life,these characters are related to everyone in one or many aspects. Hats off to story writer and director. Simply awesome 👏👏👏. I am an Indian and I always prefer to watch korean dramas with least no. of episodes but, this is the only drama I wish it would never end. I can't express in words but, to such great extent I love this drama. Coming to the roles, fantastic actors. Everyone played their best. President Mun has really got baby face and his smile is the cutest. I love all guys in this drama alot without exception. Thanks to tecnology, even though I am not a Korean, I am able to watch this splendid drama that I can cherish forever. Pls make many more such meaningful dramas. But one thing, pls promote vegetarianism rather than showing colourful non-veg recipes..bcoz even animals have families and they too can suffer and experience pain as we do :'( 💔💔💔 LOVE FROM INDIA :)

Park hyung sik brought me to this drama at first but then as i kept watching until this very ep I couldn't help myself as i have fallen in love with the whole cast.. this drama gave me laughter,crying my eyes out and so much more
they did their part in showing that we all are just a mere human with sometimes uncontrollable emotions and thoughts.. no one is perfect in here in this drama and in real life.. .. but they never give up to be better for their loved ones..

What Happens to My Family was my first Korean drama I have ever seen on KBS World and it’s the best TV series I have ever seen!
I believe watching to this drama was in my destiny. It was a sunny August 30, when I decided to rotate the satellite dish from 19,2 °E to 13 °E. When I tuned channels, I was passing through them and I stopped at KBS World where started some TV series. I decided I will watch it. I have found it’s the first episode, but I did not know it’s the premiere. After watching it was clear: I was very interested and I wanted to watch the next episodes.
From September I looked forward to every Saturday and Sunday because I was watching this drama just in TV. Unfortunately, it’s over. But it were the great times. When I write this text, I have close to tears. Words can’t describe how I’m impressed. I had close to tears in some episodes, in the last two episodes my tears ran down the face, although I was amused in last and other episodes as well. I can’t thank just to the actors, so I would like to thank everyone who was involved in this drama. I think to everyone who is in the last photo at the end of this episode. It was an amazing story, the actors were great, everything was perfect. I look forward for watching this drama again in the future. Thank you so much for the great times! This drama, this actors, this story will remain in my heart for ever.

I watched this only in 2019. Such a soulful drama. The actors are all soo good. This is by far the best korean drama i ever watched.
I cried a lot when the auntie woke up because she heard the abeoji calling her name. Almost the same thing happened to me. The night before he passed away, I heard my father calling my name...and that was it. I still remember his voice clearly and how he mentioned my name.
bananapie1256 I know this is late, but something similar happened to me when my grandfather passed away, in a dream at least. I visited my grandfather a day after Christmas and that night I had a dream about him talking to my Nana about me. I was laying on the couch in their house & he just kept saying he was okay and everything would be fine, while stroking my hair. I woke up crying because I didn't know what it meant and it felt weird. I got a call that morning saying he had passed, I told my uncle about it & he said at least 15 other family members had dreams with my grandfather in it. I guess it was his way of telling us he was leaving and not to worry.

I finished Father is strange a couple weeks ago and the comments kept comparing the 2 dramas because of how great they were, so I decided to watch it. I'm so glad I did! Such a great drama!
the story line is fantastic the characters was played well n the drama is parallel to real life events I so loved it I cried laughed mad cried bucketful n happy for the kids but sad at the same time..
I sort of stumbled on this drama and watched because of hyungsik. It so far has been the best soap\drama i have watched . It took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I cried so much, Titanic did not get this much tears from me. I didn't want to watch the last episode because I didn't want to see Abujji Sunbong pass away. The lessons are too close to home as, love your parents while they are here. I don't think I can handle watching this more than once. It made me too emotional. Kudos to all the actors, I they hot awards for this beautiful rendition.
I don't really watch KDRAMAS,but this one was worth watching.Throughout this drama,I've laughed,facepalmed myself,cries while laughing,and everything I have never felt before.I love how this drama isn't just about cheesy romance,but also shows us about the value of families.I respect the producer of this drama and I thank KBS for airing this for all of us.I truly needed this drama ❤️

almost every single day of my life i saw her face or heard her voice but now the place she was at is a void which i dont know how to fill or ignore, i wish one day this wound of ours can heal but even it does i know that it will scar

I just finished this drama today. My heart is full with so many emotions. I recently started watching Korean drama and it has been so amazing. What a wonderful story. I realize it's 3 yrs old, but I'm SO glad I decided to watch it. In my opinion, we have nothing in America that comes close to these type of stories. So well written and so amazingly acted. I loved everything about it!!!

Uwaaa. The directors and script writers are so awesome. The story and the values of the father really pull through because just with That audible laugh after the proposal made my throat really tight and made me whimper automatically. Thay scene was so moving . The fact that it was none other than the son who dreamed about being just like his father and adored him the most
Idk if its just me but oncei finish the whole drama, i immediatley go back to episode 1 to see how it all started and think of how so many things changed throughout this drama. Idk but it makes me really emotional and happy when i do that

best korean drama i have seen.. this is the first one with 50+ episodes.. but liked each episode..
Yu Donggeun, may your roles which you portray as a character(s) father continue to inspire me on the road to being a father for my own children one day...I don't even know what to write anymore, yet another amazing series is over and I'll probably will never see something so pure in a way that even the audience feels like they're apart of the cast as well when the show wraps up. I need to finish watching "The Dandelion Family", anyways there's not much I can say anymore but thank you KBS for broadcasting yet another wonderful series and thank you to the cast and crew for displaying a necessary in life that's not often seen nowadays as well as bring back something I had thought to never see again on television thanks to america's direction of programming xD

It's 2018 and I am still desperately watching this show, It took me forever to finish it bc I became so attached to this wonderful story & the characters. I can never forget this family & the joy they brought into my life. So many nights filled with tears and joy with this lovely bunch. Each member compliments the other, Dalbong & his boyish mannerisms, Gangshima & her motherly self, Gangjae & his monotony (although he has come a long way) Seoul her usual bubbly self, The father who watches over them constantly. Their love and compassion towards one another always leaves me in awe. How far they have come as a family together shows that each and every one of us can grow even in the hardest circumstances. I can remember the scene of Gangjae falling to his knees begging his father for forgiveness crying his heart out in a back alley. He showed his true willingness in helping his parent then, it's never too late everyone! We give Gangjae a hard time, but look at how caring he became & through that persevered. There is always room for a little love, kindness, patience and empathy. Thanks for allowing us to be part of your family. Love always xoxo

Best TV series hands down! The concept of family, love, hardship and so much more - put into one show. You start to feel as if you're part of the family too, after watching all of these episodes. I will always love this show, and the comedic parts of it too. Aigoo, there will never be another drama like this!
This drama teach us to love and care about family as much as we can when we still have chance. The love between Gangshim And Yeong Seol is so genuinely even if they are only cousin. The love between Cha sibling is incredible. She shares her love like a mother to all the three kids of her brother. Every actor give all their best to play their role. Im here watching this in 2019

This is my second time watching what happens to my family.. And now I'm on the last episode and even though I've watched it, i still dont know how to move on from this good kdrama huhuuuuu this kdrama never failed me to have mixed emotions & im sad how underrated it was back then. Anw brb im gonna cry.

I'm hoping more people will come to know this show however that may be (Today in 2017, I came for Park Hyungsik!!!!) and watch it even years later. The first episode is so solid that I doubt anyone wouldn't want to continue on after that.
I stayed for the characters and their growth, the relationships, the balance of comedy and drama, the pacing, and the moments--big and small.
