Thanks for giving the heads up on needing a second person. I've stumbled upon too many guides that say the achievements are soloable but come to find out there's one or two that can't be done solo. So I'll drag my boyfriend through this with me now :D
"Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" is the only achievement on the "Glory of the Pandaria Raider" list that absolutely can't be done solo (requires a min. of 2 people, one of which must be in a tank spec). It's also not possible to solo "Getting Hot In Here" and "Show Me Your Moves", but those aren't needed for Glory of the Pandaria Raider anymore. "Sorry, Were You Looking For This?" is possible to solo on a pet class, but it's tricky and requires very precise timing; it's a lot easier to do with 2 people, one of whom is a tank, but it is technically possible to solo.
Just wanted to say: You do not have to have a totem for the very last achievement in the guide. I just waited until it got to 0, had 2 reavers attack me and I killed them both, got the achieve. Done on a warrior. :) Nonetheless; Spectacular guide and have been following it for the past 2 hours. Good stuff
Actually timing is everything can be done solo. I did it on my warrior, all you have to do is drag it down to 20% or whenever her energy bar reach 0 then run away and she’ll spawn the adds. Nuke them down, then kill boss. All good! 😊 Overall a super nice guide, helped me a lot 🙏🙌
For timing is everything, it can work on any class. It's faster if you do it on a different class actually. I did it on my druid, I just pulled her, didn't damage her, and she summoned the ads way quicker. Killed the ads, then killed her, got the achievement.
So I just did this on my monk. It's rather interesting, but not all that complicated. First, I swapped to Brewmaster with the Ox statue talent, since it passively taunts and basically acts as your tank. Summon the statue, then taunt the boss. The statue will taunt after so he'll go over to it. Just sit and wait. Once one of the spirit totems spawns, go into the area it has and then kill it. I did this on a lvl 60 and it did some heavy damage to me, but I survived just fine. Then I went over and right clicked the center item. Now interestingly, this does bug out and stops the encounter, but I still got the achievement. After I got the achievement, I just one-shot the boss and moved on. Not sure if getting the achievement works every time, but I know it's worked at least once, so it's possible with the method I described above.
You don't need a pet to complete Timing is Everything. Just did it on my Rogue, no problem at all. Didn't use Sprint or Shadowstep. Just walked up and killed the two ads quickly.
So, just solo-d Timing is Everything. Took all my gear and just punched boss till her energy got to 0. She started summoning the adds, waiting till they all gathered up and equipped my weapon and killed them. ps: you can take your weapon off and on in combat :) And thank you for the great guide!
So apparently, if you are a druid, the amber monster form for I Heard You Like Amber will NOT override your druid form. I was beating on the amber blobs for a solid minute wondering why I hadn't transformed into the amber monster for the achievement... shifted out of form and bam. Yup I was in the amber monster form but didn't know it. So, yeah, druids, pay attention lol

hi I don't know if I'm the only one getting this bug but I've tried over 5 times now on heroic and normal with different alts trying to get the achievement Straight Six but whenever elegon's orbs start reaching the pylons, there's always one that shifts away and ends up behind the pylon and then repeatedly stack up on top of each other resulting in the pylons not going up for me to kill them and thus not letting me get the achievement. I've tried repairing the game asked on wow discord and checked wowhead but I can't find anything on this bug. If anyone has had this bug and know how to fix it it would be greatly appreciated since this is the last achievement I need for the mount and I'm losing my mind. btw I've submitted a ticket twice now but no response.
yeah been bugged for ages blizzard apparently dont care, last one for me to get and I cant because of this stupid bug. Your not the only one hundreds of people are getting this.

I Heard You Like Amber is not possible solo. It turns me into this yellow form, and the attack is too slow to stack 8 dead living ambers pools before they dissappear.

I had the Corgi pup on the Stone Guard and I didn't get it.... Don't know wtf went wrong but isn't 25man Heroic a Heroic dungeon? idk man, seems simple enough but I never get those ones for some stupid reason, all the time...
So I have tried the "Must Love Dogs" achievement twice now, (I know that isn't very much), with a fox kit pet, and it hasn't worked either time. I used Renny the first time, and then I used Dodger the second time. I just received the Blazehound and the Stoneclaw pets though, so I will try one of those next week. Maybe then they'll work? It just seems that every time I use a fox kit pet, the achievement doesn't recognize the pet as a canine even though they are considered canines? If anyone else has had this issue, please let me know!
Foxes are indeed canines in real life, but fox pets added after MoP don't count for this achievement. Presumably they didn't bother to add new pets to the list of what counts for an old achievement. Pets that have been confirmed to work for "Must Love Dogs": Perky Pug Core Hound Pup Fox Kit Worg Pup Curious Wolvar Pup (even though wolverines are not canines lol) Lucky Quillen Cub Alpine Foxling Alpine Foxling Kit Arctic Fox Kit Fjord Worg Pup (There may be more that could work, but these are the ones someone has verified will work. Any pets added to the game in WoD or later DEFINITELY DON'T WORK.) Should be easy to get at least one of these.

Did you make sure you weren't using the amber monster abilities to kill them and instead using your auto attack to kill them? I found a video where she explained it
You have to go to one of these raids 3 times before you are able to get the achievement. So after 3 weeks you will be able to get the mount if you have not made any progress on it.
You said in the video differently from how you actually did on I Heard You Like Amber. You are supposed to right click auto attack them, not use your 1 ability. Took me a while to find this, but you didn't make it any easier for me...
'Getting' Achievements is account wide, but that doesn't mean you can complete half a specific achievement on one and the other half on another character. So for the glory-runs, each individual achievement must be completed by a single char, but once you get the achievement, it's account wide.
This is way better than all of the other videos I've looked at for this achievement! Thank you so much!

Yea thats what i just thought, you dont need to be a hunter or a monk just let the boss hit you until they spawn and kill them ( just did it as a dh)

Does taking off gear help to not one shot everything?
It should prevent you from one shotting bosses unless you are unlucky and crit them.
