I know that the logic behind Al’s is to strike first.. but people fight back. I know as well this is a beginners video. But would be great to see counters for counters
Yes, everyone should wrap their hands when hitting the heavy bag. Don't assume you're too tough for it. I've fucked up my wrists a little at the age of 29, but luckily I have a desk job. I would have constant pain doing manual labor.
I like the water bag. I use to be a pro licensed boxer and i'm pretty dam good at punching the bags. nice snap and power BUT i'd be all done facing someone with that knife. I bet even a girl could take me out with that knife. You're right. A boxers instinct is to block and move and block and weave. Just 1 block would rip your arms open. Just 1 weave and you'd get a knife to the kidney. I hear you there man.
Hahaha so funny. But def educational. It’d be GREAT if you could do a video not just on how to USE the knife, but more importantly WHEN to pull it. Do you primarily use it off hand? Or strong hand? And if you’re going to pull a knife, would say it’s probably ok at that point to pull a gun if you can create enough space?
I've seen a lot of videos of young black guys knocking each other out with slaps. I don't know why they fucking slap each other so much, but it sometimes does work, like some kung fu shit, or something.
Nice love seeing Talon in the video! Great lesson once again. I was looking at the Ka-Bar but I think I will get a Colonel for my EDC. #DOPESTVLOGINTHEGAME
I've watched a few of your videos now and i have to say im impressed and have questions. Curious, do you have any injuries, specifically from working out or otherwise. What's the deal with the slack-line body? how fit where you when you started slackline scale of 1-10|? How long do you train per day? Thanks Carry Trainer!
Van B first, thank you. Any person who uses there body will have parts wear out. So yes things on me break too. The important thing is understanding that you are working out to make yourself stronger, more flexible and healthy, not to just look a certain way and certainly not at the peril of hurting yourself as that defeats the point.
This is the best way to fight with a blade, especially with one in each hand. I get tired of seeing all these other guys out there promoting there bullshit systems , or there stupid new knife with some special wiz bang feature on it that will make you a ninja knife fighter. And when you say something to them they get all upset . All you need is two of these in each hand and you will be practically unstopable .my only thing i disagree with is the thing about a (properly designed) push dagger will roll in you hand, it can, but its pretty unlikely, i have punched my bob with them pretty fast and hard and only once have i ever even remotely had a problem, also you can punch alot harder with a properly designed punch dagger (put more force in the punch) than i can with the colonel, but that said i still like the blade and how you fight with it
Idk if you picked one up yet or not. But I just picked one of their non metallic ones up. Seems like the metal versions go out of stock faster. Not sure how long they take to restock tho

I tried to order one of their folders from their website. The website said they were out of stock, but I could sign up to receive notification when they get some back in stock. The notification function didn't work, so I sent them a Facebook message asking them about it. After several days, they finally replied, but they didn't really answer my question. So, I commented on one of their posts, telling them I've been trying to get a straight answer from them for about a week. Instead of reaching out to me with anything that could be construed as customer service, they BLOCKED ME! Are you kidding me?! Now, I've made it my personal hobby to tell everyone I know online, and in person about the AT&T-like customer service I received from Colonel Blades. They WILL answer my question "When will your folders be back in stock?" one way or another.
@@Cod3Thr33 I'll look into that. I just got a nco full bird from depot 7 and it's just a bit heavier than what I was looking for. I'll look into the clinch pick.
What to to if You want hit using fist but You have that knife in the hand. Hammer punch? What if grab someone? That's why I like Socp but this is nice to! Lovely sister!
Other than the draw mechanics for shooters I don’t see the draw of this thing. It’s a ringed push dagger. The ring adds retention but also adds the danger of degloving which is highly likely give how chaotic a deadly confrontation can be and the high chance of the blade sticking when stabbed into chest cartilage. I’m not buying the hype on this. Nothing is new under the sun if this design is as effective as the marketing is it would have seen use when the only self defense option was a blade.
As for nothing is new under the sun, tell that to those who made the first anything. Plane, car, radio, wheel, sewing needle etc. We aren't walking around with stone tipped spears are we?

Don't worry, Talon, no one is born knowing how to throw a punch. If someone says that then they're a liar.

Not at all a push dagger. The angles, slim design, efficacy of the blade shape etc makes it very efficient
