I downloaded and played the game for about five minutes till i figured it out it looked like the same game engine that battle warship and several other games have it's just a money sucking scam the actual puzzle part is probably less than 2% of the game
This game really has the audacity to roll out these new ads where they insist the puzzle gameplay is real when it’s not even the main focus huh. Don’t know what they think they’re accomplishing when anyone who even wanted a game like that is gonna uninstall it immediately after downloading it.

The history of it is something I found doing a quick Google search. It even has a Wikipedia page. I’m assuming the mobile version is updated because 1) I don’t think mobile apps are flash based, but maybe I’m wrong, and 2) I found an image of Civony and it looks slightly more outdated than the Evony footage you showed.

The ads in RUclips now show the "mini game" with the character saving a woman, something I've never seen in my nearly one year playing Evony. I don't mind that these mini games are nearly pointless to play, but quit trying to sell people on the mini games! Nearly everyone on my server said they were suckered in by the mini game, but we joke about it often. Server 759.
Sidenote: Wins most annoying game ads for me. Teenage Asian guy voiced over with some American dudes deep radio voice. Almost more annoying than the Tiktok robot voices.

You will see a lot of those advertisements are not fake it would really be more accurate to say that they are stolen advertisements. A lot of them are real of course there are some fake ones so you might have to download and uninstall a couple of crappy ones but you will also end up finding a lot of the game or the equivalent to the game. There was always rumors of a mobile version of the PC platform, and at one time, they introduced a very, very limited beta It was highly unstable and quickly dropped. Fast forward to 2015(?) and Evony: TKR was released with great fanfare among the people who had played A1/2. They had taken the better parts of A2 and incorporated it into the new mobile platform, creating an entirely new game. It was quickly seen why. They devs make an insane amount of money. Puzzles weren't anywhere in the picture in the early days, as word of mouth was all that was needed to attract new players. Every new server would attract at least one "big" who would simply throw their credit card at the game. And that's when the major flaw of the game became readily apparent. It was nothing more than a pay-to-play mmo game. To advance can be done, but is slow, painstakingly slow. Even spending a couple hundred dollars isn't enough. But... Competition begats competition, and the devs know this. Player A spends money and Player B wants to spend more to beat him and his alliance. There are servers who have multiple players who have easily spent well beyond $25k on their own accounts. There are also well over 1000+ servers now. Do the math. For their part, the devs have partnered with marketing geniuses. They constantly come out with new ways to get money from players... even just $5-20 at a time. But even that adds up.
What i don't understand is the 4.8 rating on Google play yet 1/5 1/5 1/5 yes another another 1/5 so how 4.8? Money buys deception and this game is a Total Scam. AVOID!
I'm not really a gamer, but I got sucked into the ads of "The King's Return" & I downloaded it. So disappointing because the gameplay is NOTHING like the ads. I just keep building castles & trying to collect stuff. At first, I thought I had to reach a certain kevel within the game to get to what they show on the ads. Nope! I might as well delete it & get a little bit of space back onto my phone. 😡📱
