I always re-read those chapters from Hunter's book when I was a kid and imagined myself hanging out with them individually. John would want to get very stoned, watch TV, and mess around on the mellotron making strange tapes. Paul would want to go to an avart-garde play or experimental music concert followed by some interesting conversation. Ringo would be the most fun, drinking beer, listening to records, and playing pool. Poor George... he'd be a little boring. He wasn't into ukuleles yet, so he'd be tuning his damn sitar and complaining about things until I made an excuse to leave and head over to Ringo's again.
It’s interesting people always blame Yoko for John distancing himself from the others, but as this videos shows Cynthia was constantly getting on John’s case for always needing the Beatles
@@carmenbrown3437Explain how! Why do you and so many make blanket statements yet don’t give examples of the why? You just want to make yourself believe you are right. Without examples and an argument, it proves you are not.
@@cactaceous I guess Cynthia never wanted John to quit the band, just to spend more time as a family, to go on holiday on their own. I read in her book that in early days George would tag along when John was dating Cynthia. So there were three of them not just two lovers on those dates
Your speaking voice is so serious, makes the videos unintentionally hilarious. Nice vid though, I'm keen for Lennon's life to be made into a Netflix show.
I don't know much about ADHD, or if I'm even in the ballpark, but in everything ive read about Lennon, he was always jumping from one thing to the next. Whether its a person, or a drug or a philosophy. Much like the way you describe him watching tv in this video.
Always give money in American units or we're confused here. I assume a pound is 2 dollars? The ending reminds me of maybe a Twilight Zone or similar where, at the very end, the camera pulls back to reveal: ITS THE TITANIC!
i joined patreon to support this great channel and the work the goes in to these great videos
Much appreciated!
big ups production house!

Always enjoyable and informative , thankyou .
Honestly Cynthia was a good woman it sucks because of John truly loved her that would have been a great marriage
Ah yes, Saint Cynthia. Our Lady of the Perpetual Victim.
When he became famous he more or less ditched her for bigger and better things. And, then he met Yoko. The Payback.
His Karma
@sableonblonde1973 and then there's yucko the perpetual mother of narcissism. You're a fan, eh twit?

poor direction-less john. yoko "seems" to have added some purpose for him but methinks the effect was a darker reality.

Thank you! You too!
She was so Beautiful.
Amazing video
Thanks!
Super entertaining!
I'm not sure if the ending is camp or serious. 😊
Has anybody had a more appropriate name than “ Ono”?
Oh No!
John seems to have had ADHD.
It can actually be a benefit to creativity. You become obsessive about a project or task.
What makes you think that? be interested to know your theory
Mark lewisohn actually speculates that he had dyslexia

He's entirely overrated
Bullshit. One of the greatest singer-songwriters of the 20th century. 'Overrated"? I don't think so.
