Hi, I tried scanning files from a canon 2006n to the folders of two servers (the first one is running windows server 2019, the second one is windows server 2008R2). I have no problems scanning files to the 2008R2 one but every time I scan files to the 2019 one, it returns error #806. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know if you ever resolved this - but it's likely SMBv1 is disabled on your server. It can be enabled via powershell but comes with some security considerations. I recommend reviewing these before enabling SMBv1. Alternatively, there may be a firmware update available for your MFP that will enable SMBV2 and V3.
Problem Solved after 4 years……Thank You Very Much 🙏🏻
